Calypso House is a private, multi villa estate that sits on the south eastern coastline of New Providence between the famous Palm Cay Marina and future location of Legendary Blue Water Cay Marina. Many of our guests Dock at the Palm Cay Marina and stay here as it is in very close proximity. The property offers unobstructed ocean views from the master bedroom of every villa. There are 4 private apt. suites on the estate and one owners suite. This listing featuring 7 bedrooms 12 beds and two roll away beds if needed. Also there are 4 full bathrooms and 2 half baths so 6 restrooms across the property just for you. The large center courtyard features multiple seating all with spectacular ocean and sunset views as well as a self service ocean view bar, B.B.Q pit and the main feature, Cascades Pool. Cascades is a modern, resort style pool with multiple water features like a 6 person cold spa, overhead waterfall and high powered jet system in the main pool area. The pool also sits atop an elevated deck that protrudes from the property and into the ocean seabed. The views are absolutely unmatched.

Even though each villa offers unobstructed views of the ocean please note this property is not categorized as beach front. It is ocean view only and water view only. You can go into the ocean everyday yes but we like to be clear and up front about what to expect. (Not a white sandy beach front resort) This coastal retreat provides up close views of the south eastern coast everyday just steps away from your villa back door or from the main courtyard. You will see catamarans and power boats commute back and forth between the two main marinas at the east and west of the property. At high tide, the ocean is splashing against the sea wall. At low tide the water is about 300 yards out exposing the ocean floor. Locals call it the “Moses Tide”. It’s the only place on the island where it occurs. The nearest white sandy beach is just 4 minutes down the coastline where there is constant deep water for strong active swimmers. However if you just wish to sit in the surf, plunge in the flats or get your feet wet in the ocean its right outside your door everyday!

The neighborhood is extremely quiet even though well populated. To the east and west along the coastline are hike trails along the forests edge at lowest tide and you can see numerous bird species building and tending to nests and searching for fish and crabs.

The property is close to two large supermarkets, a liquor store and a few major fast food brands like Wendy’s, Dominoes, Starbucks, Subway and Popeyes. You also have access through our property management team to add on services like private chef dinners and meal plans, in-house massage services, mobile spa treatments, rental car delivery, private transportation services, baby item delivery, grocery and liquor delivery, boat excursions, fishing charters, bonefish guides and more. A rental car or private transport service is highly recommended during your stay.
