Very nice place, clean inside and layout was great. I liked the off street parking, but I was not comfortable say walking the neighborhood to catch a train to get downtown, or to walk to a park. Overall though, the neighbors were very friendly, the accommodations were great so as long as you can drive to this place its a recommended stay.

Great stay snd wonderful host

The property was great! Pictures were accurate and close to downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. Host was wonderful! She communicated frequently,made everything easy and even helped when I accidently left something behind. Would stay again.

Long DC weekend stay

This is a great brownstone property to stay in. It’s close to everything and easy to get to and from. Hosts communicate really well and are very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet. We would stay again.

Awesome place close to DC

My family had a fantastic time, staying at this property. Close to DC and the mall. The space was perfect for our family. Faith, the property owner, was wonderful to work with.

Nice get away!

House was very nice and clean it is in a good locution to the sites that you go for just a short ride great parking good neighborhood to walk your dog park is near over all 5 stars would stay again!!

Amazing stay

Faith’s place is just as advertised. My party and I enjoyed our stay and we had a great time this weekend. Her place is in a great location as it is close to basically all of what the DMV has to offer. I definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again! Thank you Faith for having us.

Holiday Together

The property was perfect for my family to be able to be received into the DC over the holidays. The layout, design and appeal of this property was great for all ages. The area was accessible to the express ways and points of interest. Would definitely consider again when in the area.

Had a great time. Having the futon couches and air mattress was a convenience. 25 minute lime ride from navy yard. Would recommend.

The place makes you feel welcome it's clean and really close to a lot of really good places. My family and I only used the first floor and the two bedrooms upstairs. To be honest I didn't like the felling I felt when going in to the basement so we didn't used that area at all.

This property was very clean and as pictured in the photos. Plenty of room for our family. The teens had the basement and it worked out perfectly. We used the metro to get the mall and the zoo. Thank you for a nice stay.

Cozy, stylish and great location

We were so glad we chose this VRBO. Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. She even had a basket of snacks and fresh water waiting for us. Faith was very accommodating to anything we needed. The neighborhood was quite and nice. Close to downtown, took us about 13 minutes to get to the National Mall. Would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic stay!

Welcoming and friendly host, faith was an amazing host. Incredibly attentive, helped me with whatever I needed, and replied fast and with care. While the place is slightly older (let’s be honest what great rental isn’t) I had a fantastic time stating 3 days with my two dogs. A short 20 dollar ride drops you off to the Lincoln memorial, or a short drive takes you over the the kinsman island heritage park that has a 2.3 mile over walk along the water with many birds. The neighborhood this property is at was incredibly quiet for being only a few miles from downtown dc! If you are looking for a cozy safe spot tucked away in a dc neighborhood, this is your spot!

Nice house in a not so great area.

I want to say Faith was a great host, very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to eat locally. The house is nice, it was large and clean on the interior though the backyard has a couch sitting in the yard which we found odd as it got rained on during our stay. There are a few things that concerned us mainly about the area. The property is not in a great area. We did not feel safe walking outside the property at all and every Uber driver was concerned about dropping us off in the area including a few who cancelled the ride after initially accepting. There was a large police presence very close multiple times during our stay. With small children this was concerning for us but that is on me for not doing more research on the area. The property has a well stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook conveniently during our stay, there is even a bbq grill in the back. The air conditioning works well downstairs and on the middle floor but it was quite warm on the top floor even though fans are provided. Some of the furniture is worn so I felt the need to document things like a small tear in the couch upon check in to protect ourselves but everything was clean and functional. Overall the property is great if you have a larger group to accommodate as there was 3 beds, a trundle, 2 pullout couches and an air mattress to choose from. The kitchen dining area allowed us to gather and enjoy time together as a family. There is ample street parking as well as one spot behind the house.

Unfortunately Choice

I wish I could give this property a good review but I cannot. The property was clean and attractively decorated, but it was lacking in several areas. There were no comfortable chairs in the living areas for a house that was to accommodate 10 people. I found no instructions for TV operation or what we needed to do when we left. I tried to contact the property manager several times and got only one response. The property definitely needs to get a toaster for guest use. The toilet pumping needs attention, as you had to flush the upstairs toilet several times to get it to flush and the downstairs toilet clogged and as hard as I tried I could not get it unclogged. We were definitely concerned about the location of the property.

Lovely townhome with plenty of space for a short family visit to DC

The inside of the property was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We were surprised to see a lot of trash overflowing the trashcans when we arrived. We did notify the owner of this, but the trash remained during our stay. The owner was excellent with communicating throughout our stay. She answers all our questions and was very friendly! The A/C is very cold on the 1st floor and doesn't keep the 2nd floor very cool. We were told to close vents but that really didn't help. The owner did offer to drop off fans. Bring extra blankets to keep you warm as we only located sheets and pillowcases. The bath towels were lovely, and it was nice to have the extras that were provided. The kitchen was nice but missing a toaster. A dishwasher would have made the kitchen really functional. The bag of ice in the freezer was appreciated but the snacks that others commented on were absent. There was a bottle of seltzer water in the refrigerator. The basement was really neat for my preteen grandson, but a handrail should be installed to make it easier to use the steps which are really narrow. The neighborhood appeared quiet and safe, but you do have to travel through some more questionable neighborhoods to get to major attractions. Overall, this property was very nice and a lovely place to stay for our short family trip to visit our nation's capital.

This property was exactly as advertised- clean and nice. Our kids love the snacks and drinks in the refrigerator.. The hostess was very responsive and accommodating. Only suggestion would be to add a curtain to the shower bathroom window. Would highly recommend.

cute place close to downtown!

my friends and i came in for a concert and for a parade that weekend, the house is exactly as listed and very cute and clean! Faith was a great host and stocked the fridge for us with bottles of water& pop, and have lots of yummy snacks. ubers into town were also extremely affordable because of the location. street parking is free, and there’s also a private parking spot out back which is nice. neighbors seemed nice as well and didn’t bother us. we didn’t run into any problems during our time there. thanks for a great stay!
