Location, Location, Location!!

Welcome to our home, located on the Strawberry Island Canal, part of the Cheboygan River and the Famous Inland Waterways is open for your vacation destination!

This home offers 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, a spacious living room area, a flat screen TV with sound bar and free unlimited Wi-Fi service!

There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, a large walk-in closet and a master bathroom. The second and third bedroom offers a queen size bed. We also have a pack and play for the little ones and (1) queen size air mattress with bedding, if needed. There is also a twin size cot, located in the master bedroom closet. There are small dressers/stands with mirrors, closets, and sound machines in all of the bedrooms!

In the kitchen you’ll find granite countertops, new appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, a toaster, griddle, cutting boards, wine glasses, and more!

Off the kitchen and thru the sliding glass doors, you’ll find yourself stepping out onto the brand new furnished back deck with a hot tub, grill and beautiful views of the River!

The spacious back yard offers 160' of private access to the canal. Bringing a boat or renting one? Perfect! You’ll have access to our private dock! You’ll find a fire pit out in the yard near the canal where you can roast marshmallows, sip on a drink, or simply relax in the chairs provided, (or take a nap in one of the two hammocks) while enjoying the views and sounds of the water and wildlife!

This beautiful setting is peaceful, quiet and only seconds away from all the action of the Cheboygan River and Mullet Lake!

You’ll find 2 kayaks with paddles and life jackets in the garage for your enjoyment along with a large Water Lilly pad! We also provide several beach chairs and lots of beach towels!

There’s plenty of ample parking space in the driveway, in addition to the 2 car garage!

We do provide all linens, towels, extra blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, laundry soap, fabric softener, dish soap, and more!

We are within walking distance to the North Eastern State Trails for biking & hiking in warmer weather and snowmobiling in the winter!

This is the perfect place for an up north getaway, all year round!

Very cozy and clean. We stayed in the winter, so we couldn't utilize the river. The outdoor hot tub was amazing. We watched swans and ducks on the property. It was a very peaceful place to unwind. Melissa was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Our hosts made sure we had an open line of communication in case we needed anything, but everything there was as advertised and we had not one issue. The house was clean and welcoming, the view was amazing, the hot tub was clean and easy to use, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

The house was very well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We brought our boat and went all the way to Burt Lake to Bois Blanc and Mackinaw Islands (different days) The location was peaceful, beautiful easy to navigate and the hot tub was a perfect way to end (or start) a cool fall day. Within driving distance to so many great areas as well. The hosts were fantastic! We would certainly stay here again.

The home was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was very well equiped with just about anything you would need to prepare a meal. The living room furniture was very comfortable for watching a movie after a day of sight seeing or outdoor activities. Complimentary popcorn was a nice touch! Only wish we had more time to use the kayaks and hot tub.

Great location, very clean, the grandkids and us had a terrific stay. The kids fished and swam from the dock, we all enjoyed the hot tub. Appliances and furniture in great shape, excellent location on the edge of town, and close to many attractions. Host is an extremely good communicator, would stay again without hesitation

Perfect location and lots of amenities

Our group as a whole was impressed with the entire stay. The house was clean and the property is perfect for those who want to hang out by the river and float on tubes or who want to sit on the back deck, enjoy the view and soak in the hot tub. The host was also extremely responsive to all questions. We had the best time and certainly give this property 5 out 5 stars!

The home was very clean. It was stocked nicely. We had 3 couples and the bedrooms were all nice size. Loved having the garage for the guys fishing tackle. The deck and yard were well maintained and very inviting! Would definitely book again!

Great house!

Wonderful house and property! Great river spot off on a quiet and peaceful canal. Weather was chilly so we didn’t have a chance to swim but the hot tub was perfect. Clean and well stocked house and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. We’ll be back!

Northern Retreat

What a wonderful property! The house was beautifully decorated and well accommodated with everything we needed. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the deck looking out at the river and the addition of the hot tub was a nice surprise. We would highly recommend this to our friends without hesitation.
