Historical 4-bedroom home with parking on premises

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Built in 1853 this home is located within walking distance to Historical Downtown Galveston, gift shops, bars, and restaurants. Also approximately 1 mile from the Beach and the Pleasure Pier. Free parking on premises for 4 cars. The ideal location for night before cruise stay.


Please note: Security cameras are located at the front door entrance and front porch, backdoor entrance, backyard and front upper balcony.

Gardener is on property every other day to water the plants. You may see him during you stay

Great location for walking to everything downtown. Great off street parking and we loved the backyard area. Nice large fridge to hold all of our drinks and food! Host was an excellent communicator!

Perfect location

This house was just perfect for our Mardi Gras staycation! It was the perfect location to enjoy the parades and all that Galveston has to offer.

Enjoyed the house although the beds noted in the listed were not what we walked into. It was not a big deal, we just had to rearrange who stayed in what room. We were in walking distance to the strand which is great and the fenced property was a plus with having a wild little one with us. Overall was great and host was responsive.

Family vacation!

We had such a great time here the backyard was spacious and the bedrooms were very large with plenty of space. I just wish there was more drawer and closet place but other then that the house great!

Comfortable Historic Home!

House very clean, beds comfortable and plenty of parking! Host was very friendly and responsive. We needed to be in this Strand area for my daughter’s wedding a block away from The Lyceum. Great house for a group with lots of seating/conversation areas. Only a short walk to Strand. Would definitely stay again!

This house was amazing for my family of 9, the rooms are big and the extra beds made it super comfortable for each person to basically have their own bed. It was clean and comfortable, the host was very communicative and answered every concern we had. We will definitely be staying at this house again sometime in the future!

Beautiful Home! Great Location!

We were in Galveston for the Lonestar Rally, the house is in a great location with only a short walk to the Strand. The house is beautiful, spacious and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The patio areas are wonderful, wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the spaces. Wendy was a great host and communication was great from the time of booking.

Incredible weekend

The house is fantastic! We have 7 total in our family and there was a bedroom for each couple with extra beds and space. The property was clean and ready to move in. Great fenced yard with fire pit, several seating areas, and places to gather. A few quick blocks from the Strand or a comfortable mile walk to the beach. Outstanding location!!!! The owner was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed and even sent me a historical overview of the house. Highly recommended

This house was perfect for our stay in Galveston. It was very close to all of the places we had to be for a family wedding. It was even walking distance to The Strand, where the young adults went after the wedding. The house itself had plenty of room and quite a bit of parking. The only thing it didn't have in three of the rooms was a closet, as older houses usually don't. The backyard area was very nice, we had our morning coffee out there with the beautiful flowers. I would definitley stay again if we ever go back to Galveston.
