Great home in a good location. Pool and backyard were shaded in afternoon making it a fun place to hang out after the beach. Home was clean and had a lot of room. Two issues which possibly could make home better were temperature and beds upstairs. The upstairs rooms were hot at night unless doors were left open. My son and his friend reported the twin beds upstairs were very uncomfortable.

We stayed for a family vacation, Great location, large spaces in common rooms and bedrooms, fully stocked with basics and very clean. Pool was perfect size for grandkids. Shopping and eating within walking distance. We will be back.

Perfect

The house was in a perfect location. Bear the Seawall but not busy so it was quiet. We liked having the pool because it was convenient.The house had everything we needed. I hope they allow us to stay again.

Nice little older home in Galveston. This home was in a great location less than 2 blocks from the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood. It was clean, comfortable and quaint! Two large dining tables, a well stocked kitchen and 4, clean and comfortable beds. Everything worked included the a/c AND furnace (didn’t knowTexas got that cool). A pleasant pool in the back yard, but it was too cold for that! Nice laundry facilities as well in a little house in the backyard, which was very private as all fenced. Overall, a great little place to stay for 8 of us and at a very reasonable price!

Only recommendations we recommend would b to add much more lighting outside in the back for pool and walkin to wash room and trim up the back yard tree some and something left to skim the pool other than that yall have a very clean an beautiful home we would definitely rent again!!

Booking, check in and the whole process was smooth and easy. We couldnt get the ice-maker in the fridge to work, but there are many stores nearby. Close walk to the beach, even Pleasure Pier if you are up for a longer walk.

This lovely home has so much character and is so inviting. Beginning with the four spacious bedrooms (two up and two down with the twin beds on the second floor) that have storage galore. The beds are quite comfortable and there are full chest of drawers and plenty of closet space (with hangers) in each bedroom for all of your clothing. The kitchen is nicely appointed and large enough for three or four people to work alongside one another with a working flow. The appliances are up to date and easy to use. There are two dining areas and two sitting areas that are quite comfortable. The living room has a large sofa that is very comfortable. So, just relax and enjoy a show. The beautiful built-ins house a plethora of films. The curtains in all of the rooms are very pretty beachy patterns and are black out so that is a nice touch whether you are sleeping in or watching a movie. The pool is very refreshing. A cool clean respite after a hot time on the beach or out running around the island. In the shade after 5PM, the pool is a perfect place to unwind after a day of activity. Or, like my granddaughters, you can begin your day with a nice swim...the morning sun glistening on the crystal clear water. My family enjoyed this home very much and we would like to return to this home when we stay in Galveston. Many thanks to the property owner for sharing their warmly comfortable home!
