Beautiful, completely renovated Notting Hill flat

A beautiful, modern 2-bedroom flat on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a period block. I have extensively refurbished this flat to include high quality fixtures and furnishings. It t is impeccably clean and benefits from lots of natural light.
Located on a quiet 1-way street, my flat is in the heart of one of London's most charming and beautiful neighbourhoods. You will be close to the many excellent shops, restaurants and transport links of Notting Hill Gate and Kensington High Street and the green spaces of both Holland Park and Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park are within easy walking distance. The rear of the property, where both bedrooms are situated, overlooks a small primary school, so there can be some noise during term time during the school day, however the windows are double glazed which significantly reduces noise. Guests consistently say that my flat is perfect for families and anyone who wants to explore London from a lovely, central location in a quiet and charming neighbourhood. I live locally and am always happy to share tips and suggestions and answer any questions that guests have.

This holiday was a gift to my niece. We had waited 5 years to visit London and all of us enjoyed the city. Staying in Notting Hill was a part of this wonderful holiday. Our host was helpful from the time we connected with her. The flat is just like it appears in the pictures and the location is just great, close to buses, tubes and walking paths. We enjoyed the school market and with the purchases we made great tasting meals in the kitchen. There were three of us and we had lots of space to have private times and space to visit. Having wifi allowed us to plan our days whether taking a tube, bus or walking. Our second week, the city had a tube strike but we were able to continue on with plans. It was a great place to stay and we hope to return.

Perfect Stay in London!We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The location is great, and the flat itself is perfectly equipped with new, modern, and high-quality amenities. The neighborhood is quiet and well-connected by public transport, allowing you to reach central London in 20-30 minutes. There are also convenient shops nearby. If I return to London, I will definitely book this rental again!

Quiet and Clean Flat

The place was wonderful for our first trip to London! It was quiet and clean and close to the tube. I wasn’t sure how easily we’d manage in a little place with our family of five (with three teenage boys), but it was really efficient and great to have separate rooms and beds. The sofa bed isn’t terribly comfortable in the living room with some bars running down the middle, but my son didn’t complain. We didn’t spend too much time in the flat, but the time we did, it was perfect. The kitchen was great for making morning coffee, toast, and heating up scones. The place was immaculate and bright. The temperature was perfect and we all slept well. Christine was an excellent host, communicating every step of the way and making check-in and check-out very easy. I, like all the other reviewers, highly recommend!

Wonderful flat in charming neighborhood

The property is as advertised and warrants the high reviews left by others. It was clean and a great size for our family of 3. The location was a perfect home base for exploring with the tube station and bus stops minutes away. And there were many good restaurants, stores, and coffee shops nearby. Communication with the host was good. We didn’t need anything from her during the trip, but felt confident we would have been helped if needed. We’d highly recommend it to others.

Modern flat in a perfect location

We loved staying on this quiet residential street that was so close to three tube lines. The flat was clean and modern with lots of storage in the bedrooms. We could easily walk to fantastic markets, parks, pubs, and Kensington Palace. We economized by eating breakfast and light suppers in the flat’s cute kitchen.

Great location!

Notting Hill is fantastic for families. The apartment is 5 min away from metro, and also very well connected with buses. Many parks, restaurants, pubs. The host was great and communicated well and timely.

Lovely week with teens in Notting Hill appartment

Christine was a generous host, with good communication and early access to the property after a very long flight from Australia. The apartment was well-located, quiet, well serviced and comfortable. The lifts were handy for 4 large suitcases.Only minor downsides: The internet was new, but the wifi signals were variable. The bedrooms were small but allowed for two adults and two teens. The kids commented that their beds could have been a bit more comfy with more pillows. The apartment heated up too much overnight - similar experiences in other English and European accommodation.Overall - would recommend to other travellers and would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location!

We spent five nights here in April. The check in process was smooth and organized, the space was clean and inviting, the owner left great information regarding local amentities and restaurants, she also touched base to confirm that all was well, and the short walk to Notting Hill Gate was perfect for sightseeing. Great experience!

Christine was an amazing vrbo host. We were delayed from the Heathrow fire and she went out of her way to welcome us with gifts for our troubles. Additionally the property was clean and she communicated with me on everything they were currently working on. The location was great as well! I would gladly stay here again!

Great location, excellent condition, helpful host

If you're looking for a convenient location to access London sites, this flat is great as it's just a few minutes walk from two separate tube stations as well as bus stops. The apartment itself appears to have been recently renovated, with modern appliances throughout, sleeps 4 comfortably, and has cooking supplies but is close to many nice cafes and restaurants. Christine is extremely helpful and will likely send you a list of sites, restaurants, things to do, and others that we found useful and not covered elsewhere. Enjoy your trip!

Cozy, clean, and comfortable

My friend and I spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The location is close to shops, pubs, and transportation on a quiet street with little traffic. Christine, the host, provided detailed guidelines for using the flat, as well as suggestions for exploring the neighborhood and London in general. A return trip may be in our future

Central and easy to access any part of London but quiet, charming and offers an amazing array of restaurants, shops, parks, and cultural activities. It's incredibly family friendly but also offers vibrant entertainment for younger people as well as attractions for more mature travellers.

My property is located within one of the most charming and safest neighbourhoods on a beautiful, quiet street but in very close proximity to the tube, bus stops, restaurants, cafes, shops and the park. It's very easy to get to / from all major airports and train stations. The flat itself has been fully renovated and although it's small, it's well-designed layout makes it very functional and practical for a family or group of travellers to make it their landing pad during a visit to London. Given its location and due to its size, most guests find that it is excellent value vis a vis other centrally-located, well-maintained prime London properties.
