Centrally located beachy home!



The Space:

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath bayside home is located in the heart of Crystal Beach. You're just a couple of minutes from the Big Store, restaurants and a short drive to the beach across Highway 87.



Sit out on the deck in high back chairs and enjoy the sunset while watching horses graze at the stables across the street. Step inside and get that modern, beachy feel. The generous living, dining and kitchen combo has room for everyone. The well-furnished kitchen has modern appliances, and all the cookware you need for your vacation. For your convenience, there is also a washer and dryer on the premises.



With 1300 square feet, The Bunkhouse easily sleeps 8. The master bedroom features a king bed with a futon and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom two features a queen bed. Bedroom three features 2 twin over twin bunk beds - great for kids!



Enjoy the outdoor shower under the house to rinse away the sand, a picnic table for outdoor snacks, and a charcoal barbecue to grill your favorite beach meals.



There is no internet available, so you will need to bring a “hot spot” if Wifi is a must-have, but it's a great location for spending time together with family and disconnecting from the world.



If you need more space, rent The Mango Hut right next door; there's extra sleeping for 8 more people!



No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Pots and pans were not pealing or all scratched yfi no batteries in any of the remotes so we left new ones for the next renters. Would rent it again didn't sweat the small stuff.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son and all his friends and two other families all came down for a visit. There were two other properties rented. Although the bunkhouse was a little smaller, the coffee maker was great and the front porch was wonderful, but the icemaker beat other properties refrigerators by a mile. One morning I got up to drink coffee. All the boys were asleep around 8 AM and off the distance. I heard the sounds of zydeco music echo across the old horse stable across the street. Some of my roots on my mother side are from Lafayette, Louisiana, and this explained , why there was such a variety of Boudin at the big store. Access to the beach was just down the street and it’s a perfect location.

The house was great. Relaxing and very clean. The only downside is that it doesn't have wifi. Other than it was perfect.

5 day stay

We stayed the week/weekend of july 4th. During our stay we loved how much room the house had and the areas outside. An outside shower was a nice touch as well. My only complaint was the overbearing amount mesquitos outside, it was a little irriating when we wanted to be outside due to them.

The Bunkhouse, Port Bolivar

We were at Crystal Beach to celebrate our aunt’s 60th Bday. The house was perfect for us and the family members we shared with. The property was clean and nicely decorated. The management company was easy to communicate with and check in/out was easy. We would definitely rent the property again.

Relaxing Long Weekend

The location was new, clean and centrally located. Only drawback was the driveway. If you bring a boat, you better bring your A-game when backing your boat in the driveway.

Nice property

This is a very nice property & brand new. There was no Wi-Fi in the home yet and the entry is not keyless. The property key had to be picked up about 2 miles from the house. This property is located across the main highway, and it is not walking distance to the beach. We made the best of it and enjoyed our family time!
