We spent 11 wonderful nights at Villa Tossal in Moraira and loved every moment. The villa is beautiful, clean and very well equipped, and our children absolutely loved it there.The host Harry was very kind and helpful. We would happily come back again!

Nice villa with superb view

We had a great stay here. Nice pool though too cold (18 degrees) to use at our stay in March. The views are magnificent and house is very spacious with all its entrances and floors

Thank you very much for the nice comment! It was lovely to have you both as guests. Unfortunately you were very unlucky with the weather, the pool was 22 degrees just before and after your holiday, but there was no sun over Easter this year, so even the solar heating didn't help. I hope you come back one day when the sun is shining!

Lovely villa, lovely people

Beautiful villa, lovely heated pool. The lights in the evening around a pool area was amazing. Seating at the edge of the swimming pool and looking at the vista was a beautiful experience. Harry ( the owner) made sure that we feel welcome on arrival, we had bottle of wine, fruits, drinks, meat and bread. Overall very very good, well worth the money. But you will need a car for go shopping, on the beach and restaurants. Its only 5 min drive. You have to pay for the air-conditioning usage at the end of your holiday , our family of 7 including baby and we used an air-conditioning alot - it costs us only 50 euros. We would definitely stay again and recommend the villa. Of all the villas we have stayed, this was the most friendly and easiest team to deal with. Really lovely people 😊

positive and negative impressions

We have chosen a luxurious private-house. At the arrival the owner made clear that we can use the hole house except for the main living-area and the main bedroom and bathroom on the maiden floor where the big terrace is incl. the swimmingpool. During our stay we had to walk several stairs up and down from the maiden floor to our livingarea. It is not nice to enjoy the house and see the best livingarea closed only for the owner. The house and vieuw is very nice but we would not rent it a second time under these circumstances.

Dear Alex, The layout of the house and which area is on which floor is explained in great detail in the description. So far, every guest has read it and no one was surprised that the pool terrace is accessible via a stairway. It is also easy to see where everything is on the many photos. I find it really unfair that you accuse me of not renting out my own flat with all my private things. We discussed the whole issue in detail right away. I describe the villa in great detail so that no one has false expectations. But you have to read the text. Kind regards.

Beautiful villa with amazing pool and stunning view

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Tossal & recommend. The villa is in a good location with the most amazing 180 degree view. The pool area is great & pool itself was one of the best we've ever had, lovely & warm and of course the view! The villa is on a big plot & there were lots of different places you could sit outside & the gardens are beautifully landscaped. The outside lighting of an evening has been really well done. The villa itself has been renovated stylishly. However, as said in a previous review, the living space is all on the first floor, so you have quite a few steps to go down to get to the pool area. We realised this in advance & it wasn't a huge problem, the good points of the villa outweighed this. Only two of the bedrooms are in the main accommodation, the other two are accessed from their own entrance, again we knew this in advance & though not ideal it wasn't an issue for us & would be good if travelling with friends so everyone would have more privacy. Communication with the owner was good & the small problem we found on arrival was fixed within a day. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is that the kitchen could have been better equipped - good for plates, glasses etc, but not many cooking utensils. Also, the main living/dining room inside doesn't have air conditioning which we thought wouldn't be a problem, but it was very hot, too hot to spend any time in the lovely living room even with the breeze & cooking was a nightmare in the heat.

Hi Vicki, thanks for the review. I am glad you had a nice stay in my house. As you wrote yourself, the layout of the rooms and the stairs to the pool one floor down were well described and known. It is a pity that you did not report the missing kitchen utensils (a pasta strainer and oven gloves). These items were not promised, but I would still have got them so that you would be satisfied. Unfortunately, you had an unusual heat wave right during your holiday. That's rare, but it can happen in Spain at the height of summer. Sorry, there is nothing I can do about it. I don't think it's quite fair to deduct one star for that.

Villa très belle bien rénové avec goût très propre à notre arrivée,ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas même à ce prix, de petites attentions à notre arrivée sur la table à manger, un propriétaire qui se préoccupe du bien être de ses vacanciers, que dire de plus que la joie de découvrir une villa qui sent bon le propre et le frais lorsque l'on rentre dans cette maison, une vue à couper le souffle une belle piscine à débordement pareil propre, je n'ai pas de problème avec la propreté sauf que cela fait bien souvent défaut puisque votre politique est qu'il n'y a pas de service professionnel pour cela et souvent cela est très souvent pas fait correctement nous devons relaver la vaisselle et le linge de lit ainsi que les sols😰 dans cette villa rien ne nous a déçu nous reviendrons sûrement en famille que de bons souvenirs

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Das Haus war in einem hervorragenden Zustand – alles war sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Genau der richtige Ort, um sich zu erholen.Der Gastgeber war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderes Dankeschön auch an Ulli, die den Check-in und Check-out vor Ort betreut hat. Sie war unglaublich nett, herzlich und hat dafür gesorgt, dass alles reibungslos ablief.Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Es ist eine sehr schöne Villa mit einem gigantischen Ausblick!Viel Raum um sich auch mal aus dem Weg zu gehen.Eine schöne Terrasse mit einem großen Pool.Leider war der Pool anders als in der Beschreibung nur minimal beheizt. Ab Mitte November wurden nur noch Temperaturen von max. 17 Grad erreicht. Das hat uns schon geärgert, da das für uns ein wichtiges Kriterium für die Auswahl der Villa war. Bei 7 Wochen Aufenthalt wollten wir unbedingt einen beheizten Pool! Ansonsten könnte ein bisschen mehr Geschirr vorhanden sein, was aber in der Beschreibung drin stand - Geschirr für 8 Personen! Sehr zufrieden waren wir auch mit der Betreuung vor Ort. Frau Paschinger war immer gut zu erreichen und hat sich sofort bemüht, wenn etwas nicht funktioniert hat, oder kaputt gegangen ist. Für Elektroautofahrer ist auch toll, dass eine Ladestation vorhanden ist, bei der man sehr günstig aufladen kann. Der Hausstrom ist im Vergleich zu Deutschland sehr günstig!Schön ist auch, dass der Hauptbereich mit einer Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet ist. Ist im Winter gut,da die Nachttemperaturen doch relativ niedrig sind und man ab Dezember schon eine Heizung braucht.Wem die Beheizung des Pools egal ist, kann sich auf eine tolle Villa mit viel Platz und gigantischem Ausblick freuen.

Danke für die Bewertung. Ich bedaure dass Ihre Erwartung an die Temperatur des Pools nicht erfüllbar war. In der Beschreibung steht "Überlaufpool (beleuchtet und solarbeheizt)", und die Solarheizung war auch in Betrieb. Im November/Dezember sinken allerdings die Temperaturen nachts teilweise unter 10 Grad Celsius, dann kühlt das Wasser in jedem offenen Pool ohne Überdachung so stark ab dass die Solarheizung auch bei sonnigem Wetter nicht in der Lage ist das Wasser auf eine angenehme Badetemperatur zu heizen. Ich freue mich dass Sie ansonsten mit der Villa zufrieden waren.

Wir reisen seit vielen Jahren in die Gegend vom Cumbre del Sol, die Lage von dem Haus ist einfach SENSATIONELL!!! Was die Einrichtung betrifft, es fehlt an gar nichts man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause ;-)
