Exceptional experience with Ann - this is a great property. We booked this place for a large group to stay in after the funeral for a dear friend, so it was a sad occasion - but Ann’s consideration and communication made the experience better. Our guests kept saying how nice the property was and they felt cared for during a difficult time. Great location near Rice Village, so convenient for food. I definitely recommend this property.

Incredible location in Rice Village—just steps from fantastic restaurants and shops. Ann, the host, was ultra-responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. We had such a good time and loved the location as well as the layout of the home. We were able to walk to The Village shops, restaurants, and bars!! Highly recommend The Owl Bar!!!Owner was extremely responsive and made whole process easy!!!

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a very nice experience. The home itself is well maintained and worked well for our group. The kitchen was especially well stocked with useful amenities, which made cooking easy.The owner was also very responsive and helpful, offering great local recommendations that we appreciated during our stay.One small observation for future guests is that the home feels a bit more formal than many vacation rentals so we found ourselves being extra extra cautious while using the space.We also noticed the listing mentions sleeping up to 16 guests, but we didn’t see a sleeper sofa in the den. It wasn’t an issue for our group since we didn’t need the extra sleeping space, but future guests planning for a larger group may want to confirm the sleeping arrangements.Overall, this is a lovely property with thoughtful amenities, a very helpful host, and it served our group well for our stay.

Great Place and Excellent Host

We were in for 3 nights to see some family and attend the rodeo. Everything was easy and communication was excellent. We had a minor issue when the city decided to turn off the water to the street, but the host was highly communicative and it ended up not being a big deal. I highly recommend the place, as it is very clean and neat.

Amazing Stay

I hosted a small group for my mom’s 70th birthday and it was amazing. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The home is central to everything. The check in and out process was great as well. There was not a lengthy to do list for check out and that is always a plus. The host also responded very quickly when we had questions. I would definitely choose this property again.

Great match day weekend

Gorgeous property in an ideal location. Our young adult children with us commented that they felt like we were staying at the Kardashian’s. The decor was astonishing! So well-appointed with a tremendous variety of coffee and tea. Love the study with big tv. Cozy spot! We were so conveniently located to fine dining, shopping, downtown and the med center. Our host was excellent….very available, helpful and welcoming! We will be back!!

My wife and I came here after her surgery to recover. Ann was extremely helpful in making sure that the first floor bedroom was equipped with a mini fridge and was kind enough to arrange for a special support pillow for my wife. She was responsive, considerate, and helpful. It was a great stay despite our circumstances.

Easter Weekend 2024

Had a really nice stay over Easter weekend with the family. The home was very nicely laid out and there is plenty of room where we never felt cramped. What we really appreciate is how close everything we wanted to do is. Minute Maid stadium, Toyota Center, shopping, it’s all close by. The area is safe as well. There is a Starbucks next door and you can make an order and walk over in under 2 minutes. We especially appreciate the people watching from the kitchen windows. Highly recommend!
