Clean & perfect for two. Very short walk to the beach, which was nice when we wanted to catch the sunrise. Our host Diane was very nice and accommodating. The apartment was well stocked and furnished nicely. Restaurants within walking distance. Everything you need for a great trip to OBX is here. Thank you for sharing your space with us, Diane! We do hope to visit again!

Overall stay was pleasant. Host was very attentive and even left us fresh strawberries. Very well stocked and beautifully decorated. Walk to the beach was a bit further than anticipated. Space was not exactly sound proof from above. I wish I had paid closer attention to the pictures; there are no windows in unit and it’s facing a busy parking lot.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The communication with host was easy and responses were prompt. Check-in/out was easy. Appreciated the cleanliness and the fact that the unit had everything we needed for our weekend at the beach (beach chairs, cooler, beach towels). We also appreciated that we were within walking distance to a couple of restaurants/bars! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience.

I met the owner and she was wonderful and very welcoming. Her place is well kept and felt like we were at home the whole time. Highly recommended for a cozy place to stay.

Quaint get away

The place was very clean and was a great location. You can walk right to the beach and even to a few good restaurants. The host was very nice and checked on us. It is very intimate seeing as it is all one room but it was perfect for me and my husband.

OBX Ocean Retreat is the spot!! Relaxing perfect getaway!! Location is Everything. We are located in Kitty Hawk on the Beach Rd (Virginia Dare Trail) at milepost 4.5 in the Sea Dunes Community. Walking distance to the Beach (150 yards), private Entrance and Self check-in with Keyless Entry Pad. Guest Parking spot in front of Suite. We provide Beach chairs & a cooler. Walking Distance to popular restaurants, Hurricane Mo's, Black Pelican, Barefoot Bernie's, Trio's, & here are no Structures between Sea Dunes Community and the Beach. Guests have access to everything they need.
Keyless entry, wifi, Smart tv, Netflix, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler. Free use of the Clubhouse amenities which includes universal gym, pool table, ping pong table , outdoor pool, jacuzzi, racquetball court, tennis court, bathrooms, outdoor & indoor showers.
Getting around:
We are walking distance to some great restaurants. Hurricane Mo's, Black Pelican, Trio's, & Barefoot Bernie's. Beach is about 100 yards from the suite.
No public transportation but Uber & Lift are available
