we had several issues starting with our arrival. The code to the door lock was not sent in the arrival email. After messaging the host without response, we contacted customer support and finally was able to access the location with a lockbox key. Due to the delay getting in, we just dropped our luggage and left. Upon our return late that night, the place was freezing. There thermostat displayed 60 degrees. While adjusting it we heard a loud popping sound and the power went out. In the meantime, we went outside looking for the fuse box or any signs of power issues and found that the power meter was wrapped in yellow caution tape. Again tried to message the host and after nearly 2.5 hours between getting cut off from customer service and losing connections (no power - no internet) we were finally able to located a fuse box an restore power.The AC never came back on during our stay. Contacted customer service the next morning to try and see if we could get alternate accomodations due to fearing the issue with the electric meter and power issues. Instead they connected us with the host. Their response was we could cancel the 2nd night ( we had no where else to go and had committments in the area) or "i can buy you breakfast?" At that point we went about our business, hoping the house would still be standing when we returned and checked out tne next morning .Also the drain in the shower in the back bedroom did not drain properly. the floors slopped and were spongy
