The Space:

Cold mountain air drifts through the trees as you arrive, the quiet broken only by the wind moving across the ridgeline. From the deck you watch sunrise spill soft gold across rolling hills, while the scent of pine mingles with the faint hint of fresh earth after a spring rain. Evenings settle into a gentle hush, steam rising from the hot tub as stars appear overhead, inviting you to unwind in the secluded calm of the West Virginia mountains.



The Setting

The entire chalet rests on a private five‑acre lot bordered by a thirty‑seven‑acre nature preserve. Elevated views stretch in every direction, offering a true sense of retreat while keeping you within a short drive of the Cacapon River’s outdoor attractions.



Indoor Living

Inside, the living area centers around a comfortable sofa, a TV for streaming, and reliable WiFi that supports movie nights or video calls. A separate room with a door houses a dedicated workspace, giving you a quiet spot for focused tasks. Heating keeps the cabin cozy during cooler spring mornings and evenings.



Sleeping Arrangements

Two bedrooms each hold a queen bed, providing plush space for up to four guests. Two full bathrooms are stocked with bathroom essentials, ensuring convenience for couples, families, or friends sharing the retreat.



Kitchen & Dining

A full kitchen features major appliances, an island counter, and ample cookware, inviting you to prepare meals at your own pace. Whether you’re brewing coffee while the mountains wake or cooking dinner after a day on the river, the space feels both functional and welcoming.

Step onto the spacious deck to soak in panoramic mountain views or fire up the BBQ grill when the weather allows. Pet Policy

We’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!



Longer Stays

For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.



Good to Know

Free parking is available on the premises, and self check‑in is handled through a lockbox. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, though you may still notice occasional leaves or pollen—a reminder of the natural setting you’re enjoying.
