Enjoy this condo in Vail Village across from the Solaris Resort. We are walking distance to the ski lifts, shopping, restaurants, fancy bowling alley, ice skating rink, Vail microbrewery and more! The unit features a gas fireplace in the living room, full kitchen area and views of the gorgeous Solaris resort & ice-skating rink. The living room and kitchen have been newly updated. Queen bed in lofted bedroom area and very comfortable brand-new pull-out sleeper sofa in living room along with a full bathroom. Condo also has a washer and dryer. We have recently installed A/C for the summer! STR# 007193

Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Exactly as described. I would not there is only stair access to the unit which could be an issues for some with luggage. Steve was incredibly accommodating.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of Vail Village. The unit worked out perfectly with our kids sleeping on the pull out couch and the adults sleeping in the King bed in the loft.

Excellent Location

This property provided us with a great location for a 2 week ski vacation. We had all the kitchen, bath, bedding, seating, entertainment options needed to make for an enjoyable stay. The host was first class. Will definitely do it again.

Although a great location, parking cost us 65 per day. We weren’t aware of this until 2 days in advance. Also, this unit is not comfortable for tall people. I’m 6’2 and the bed was short, the shower was small and bedroom ceiling was low. Again, great location but I probably wouldn’t stay here next time

This was our third visit to Vail and the second in winter. Three years ago we stayed offsite along a bus route - that was convenient enough and we used Vista Bahn for ski storage as the condo owner had rented one for the season - this time we found ourselves in the middle of everything! Knowing that a rink is right across the street, our kids brought their own skates, once the hard guards were on they could just walk right over. All I did was to sign a liability waiver and the ice time was free. They skated multiple times during our stay. The condo was clean and in great condition. The three very large silver halide prints were of gallery quality, the gorgeous landscapes added an open and airy feel to the living space. With photography being a lifelong hobby for me, I knew the production cost alone would have been very high and was pleasantly surprised to find them in a rental property.The kitchen is well stocked. The market in Lionshead is only a short bus ride away and I actually walked there once; a full-sized grocery store, Safeway, is reachable by bus from the transportation center which is only steps away from the condo.The amount of snowfall in December was well below average in 2025 so only a fraction of the trails were open - we lucked out three years earlier when it had been just the opposite so that most of the ski trails had already opened by Christmas - our kids sorely missed the back bowls but that said we still had a good time on the slopes.

Fantastic Vail Getaway

Really great location in Vail Village. Easy access to restaurants and short walk to Gondola One. We actually were stranded for 2 extra days and our host was incredibly understanding and accommodating for us. We cannot recommend this listing enough

Incredible Location

In the center of Vail Village directly across from Matsuhisa & Solaris Resort. Lovely, clean condo. Even though it’s in the center of town, still very quiet at night and that’s even on NYE. Walking distance to everything, no car needed! Will definitely stay again

Want to stay again!

Location is PERFECT! Two adults and our 5 year old going to ski school for the first time. We LOVE Vail and like to stay in the Village. Condo was great! We hope to make this a yearly trip with our daughter now that she loves to ski too!

Great Vail Destination!

Had a great three day ski vacation staying at this unit, which features both exceptional location and exceptional value! While tricky to initially locate the entrance (conveniently next to a Pizza Restaurant!), the place is charmingly well stocked and well maintained! The upstairs loft bedroom was very comfortable, but the pullout sleeper sofa was hard and could use some sort of pillow-top covering to make it a more restful sleep. Would highly recommend this unit, especially for any couple looking for a Vail visit!

Comfortable condo with nice amenities

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Vail Core condo. The location is key, a 5-7 minute walk to Gondola 1, across the street from the Solaris skate rink and a short walk to the free bus that takes you to Lionshead. The condo is well stocked with everything you will need to cook. If not feeling in the mood for cooking, within a short walk you have a wide array of dining options. Definitely recommend the condo to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Great location!

Pleasant condo right in the centre of Vail with lovely views over the ice rink. Very well equipped with more towels than we could possibly need, extra bedding, games, humidifier, toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc. The owner Steve responded immediately to our messages which was appreciated. We loved the gas fire and the masses of storage space but the best part was the 5-minute walk to the lifts through the centre of the village.

Perfect location

Located right in the village. Cozy space- just what you need for a couple or a family of 4 who want to maximize their ski time! Teen boys fit in the pullout just fine. If you are bringing a car, it’s close to village public parking garage. Note that stairs up to bedroom loft take a bit of effort, especially on day 1 or 2 before acclimating to the elevation. Would definitely rent again.
