Country living just minutes away from city amenities! This charming farmhouse-style home sits atop three peaceful acres and is secluded from the neighbors' view! The ideal combination of cozy yet spacious, it's just the right fit for the two of you or the whole family for a relaxing weekend getaway. You are only: 8 Miles from Dove Ridge Vineyard 10 Miles from Historic Downtown Weatherford 15 Miles from Lake Weatherford Marina 35 Miles from Downtown Fort Worth *Pet Friendly, with Pet Fee* This adorable brick home rests on three acres of land at the end of a one-half mile long private gravel/dirt road. The quiet county setting, secluded from the neighbors view, makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind for a weekend or longer! You're only a quick 10-15 minute drive from Historic Downtown Weatherford. Take a stroll around "the Square" and stop in the antiques stores and boutique shops, admire the iconic Parker County Courthouse, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants/eateries! The house itself features a spacious kitchen with full-size appliances for your use, and it is stocked with essential items like eating and cooking utensils, pots and pans, cups and plates. The first floor has a dining area where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner at the table, or even play a game of Weatherfordopoly! The first floor living room has a sectional couch to cozy up on while watching a movie on the 42 inch TV. There is an additional seating area in front of a faux fireplace, and the "flames" can be on with or without the heat. There is one half bathroom downstairs and a laundry room with a full washer and dryer for your use. The second floor is quite unique! Though the sleeping areas are separate from each other, there are no doors enclosing them. It is more of an open floorplan rather than your traditional bedroom setup. The main bedroom houses a Queen-size canopy bed with hybrid foam mattress. This room also has a seating area with two chairs and a futon where you can watch TV or have a nice conversation! The full-size futon can lay flat and doubles as the 4th bed for the 5th guest to sleep on. The smaller bedroom--dubbed the "Cowboy Quarters"--includes two Twin XL GhostBed Flex mattresses that can be converted into a single King bed upon request! There is also a full bathroom upstairs with a vintage clawfoot tub! And don't forget to step outside onto the balcony to watch the sunset and gaze at the stars! Fun Fact: the balcony was constructed from steel from an old airplane hangar at the former Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX! Enjoy quiet summer nights outside by the fire pit and cool off during the day in the swimming hole! The pool is made from a stock tank and measure 6 ft. wide by 2 ft. deep. The kids love it! The pool is NOT heated, so it will be open when the weather starts to warm up and closed when it cools down (roughly April-November). Guests will receive a code to unlock the front door via the keypad. You will have the entire property to yourselves and are free to roam about the land AT YOUR OWN RISK. Keep in mind that there may be venomous snakes, fire ants, scorpions, wild hogs and other wildlife on the property at any time (plus cacti). Please DO NOT TRESPASS on the neighbors' land, and DO NOT pet or feed the longhorns! There will be one locked storage closet in the downstairs hallway inside the house. Guests will NOT have access to this closet. Additionally, guests are prohibited from entering the locked storage shed and the well house on the premises. Although I will not be available in person, I am only a call/message away if you need anything! PET FEE & RESTRICTIONS: though we are pet friendly, we do charge a $100 pet fee per reservation. Guests must include their pet(s) in their reservation so that the pet fee will be automatically included in the total booking price. Two pets maximum and dog breeds are subject to prior approval by Host. See Additional House Rules for more details on pets. LOCATION: the property sits at the end of a half-mile long private gravel and dirt road. Halfway down the road you will come across the neighbors' homes on either side. Continue driving and follow the road all the way to the end and you will reach your private destination! RATINGS & REVIEWS: Short-term rental sites penalize owners/hosts for receiving reviews that are less than 5 stars! If we haven’t provided a 5-star stay consistent with the description of the listing, please contact us during your stay and give us the chance to correct the situation. The TV's are equipped with Roku, but guests MUST USE THEIR OWN ACCOUNTS to login to the streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, etc. Guests are responsible to log out of all accounts prior to check-out. TWO-LEVEL HOME: Please be aware that there is a staircase and the sleeping quarters are on the second floor. This property may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs or for guests with young children. A baby gate is provided, but it is the guest's responsibility to determine if the property is suitable for themselves and/or their children and to ensure their safety at all times. LIVESTOCK: Please be aware that you may hear the sounds of neighboring livestock--especially while outside--such as goats, chickens, and cows.

My husband and I came for a visit from New Braunfels and found this cozy, homestead feeling little place. We were able to bring our two pups with plenty of room to enjoy outdoor play. The house is updated beautifully and , wow, that gorgeous clawfoot tub! We thoroughly enjoy everything about our stay here and look forward to booking it again!
