The host was so sweet & accommodating - we booked this place for a Valentine’s Day getaway and she made it special by putting real pink roses inside & rose petals on the bed. She was so friendly & helpful in the booking process as well. Loved talking to her our first night there!

Absolutely loved the cottage!! It was comfortable and cozy! Our biggest issue was the description of the property. It stated that the cottage was in the center of 18 acres which made me think it would be in a pasture type setting with lots of peace and quiet. The reality was that the property ran parallel with a road (approximately 30 yards from the front door) that stayed busy day and night. Even with the bedroom at the back of the cottage and a fan running, you could hear the traffic at night. Loved the cottage, but did not love the location.

Super sweet cottage, the photos do not do this well appointed newly renovated VRBO. It has a lovely modern kitchen (with great knives for cooking, prepping)with nice sit up counter, seceral coffees supplied snacks herbs and eggs! The beautiful linens on the beds, tvs, amenities supplied in the modern bathroom and washer dryer truly the owners thought of everything anf more! We liked walking back to where the chickens were , meeting the friendly barn cats and horses we could see from our porch at the riding school nextdoor.I would remiss if i did not mention that the cottage faces the extremely busy road which is always busy and at times scarey to get out onto the road as even is only 2 lanes is a major thruway. Yes you can hear the traffic from both bedrooms. But yhe property is centrally located and so in good locale. Penny will give you recommendations on all things in area and is very kind and thorough and professional. Try the local winery about 10 mins away and get the charcuterie board with your vino. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoyed the swinging bench.

Everything we needed was supplied for us. The coffee and tea selections put it over the top. The cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. And the hosts were so accommodating and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything stayed fully stocked. The Western Farm Cottage is definitely on our repeat list.

Look no further, this is a real jewel in the sea of rental options.We've stayed at many VRBO properties, this one rates among the highest. Extremely comfortable beds with highly functional as well as beautiful kitchen and bathroom. The host could not have been friendlier. We enjoyed 10 nights on this trip and will not hesitate to book again if need a place to stay in Weatherford.

Weekend getaway

The coziest rental we have stayed in! The kids enjoyed being able to play outside, the fridge had a little plate of farm fresh eggs and a mason jar of fresh cut herbs. Such a thoughtful host! The checkout process was much easier than other rentals I’ve stayed in, which was helpful when traveling with small children. Host was so sweet answering questions about events in town, etc. highly recommend!

Wonderful House!!

I just spent a long weekend at this lovely farmhouse with my sister. It’s even better in person! It was perfectly and thoughtfully stocked, both with household items you might need as well as snacks. The beds were so comfortable, the house was clean and tidy, and the size was perfect. We were able to visit Fort Worth, wander around Weatherford, and even popped down to Granbury this trip. The owner was very attentive and happy to assist should we have needed anything, but since everything was already so well prepared we didn’t need a thing. And as a bonus we got to spend time with the sweet and adorable farm cats! If you are considering a stay please don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed!!

Gorgeous home with peaceful front porch swing to relax.

Our host was so attentive and friendly, she really knows how to make you feel at home. This is one of the best stocked homes we have ever used. Her furnishings are top notch and beds so comfy. The fully stocked kitchen and several little extras from her farm made this a wonderful weekend. Go try her farm house under the pecan trees.
