Family vacation 2025

I was extremely impressed with this place. Nancy was easy to communicate with and answered all the questions I had with no issues. Place is extremely clean and they give you everything that you need plus more. My son and I had a great time playing ping-pong in our downtime. The pool and hot tub were great. The hot tub was easy to work compared to other places I’ve rented in the past. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful Stay

Golf Trip with Friends

Myself & 3 friends went down to spend a few days golfing. The house is beautiful and very clean. We spent most of our time out on the patio next to the pool. We had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Wife's Birthday Trip

The Cape Escape was a Great Getaway for us. Our 3 Adult Children and Spouses, and 1 Grandchild all had a great time. The House and Pool where just what we where looking for. Lake was a bit windy for Kayaks and Fishing but we did our best.Did a beach day to Sanibel and the traffic was horrible.Host was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions and helped us through a minor issue with the Pool and Spa.Would definitely book this house again.

The house was amazing along with the yard and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped which was so nice. I did leave a note that the home should have a few extra blankets as the weather was unseasonably cold and we had to pull a comforter off another bed and sleep with sweatshirts on (the master bedroom was much cooler than the rest of the home). We did turn up the heat. Additionally, they expected us to wash the towels and the home was only stocked with 3 dishwashing pods, 3 laundry pods and 3 trash bags. I suggest they proved more amenities if that is the expectation. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Christmas Stay

All about Cape Escape met expectations plus more! The property is well maintained and fully equipped for lounging, sunning, eating, sleeping, biking, beaching and even fishing - caught trout! Our party included 8 adults - one octogenarian using a walker, 3 adult couples (one of which brought their 23 month old), and 1 twenty-something. Even the weather couldn't have been improved upon... a pleasant surprise for the end of Dec. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your place with us.

Staycation

Such a beautiful home. The backyard views were breathtaking. Especially around sunset time. The host was very good at responding back with any questions I had. The home looks exactly like it looks in the pictures. I live in the area so it was more of a staycation for me but I had family from the east coast of Florida come and visit. We used the kayaks and it was so much fun. We saw a few turtles in the water super cute! Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Einen erholsamen Urlaub haben wir in diesem wunderschönen Haus und an diesem ruhigen Ort verbracht. Das Haus ist traumhaft, sehr sauber, gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und super gerĂ€umig. Leider hatten wir einige Tage Wlan Ausfall, der dann nur dĂŒrftig behoben werden konnte. Daher war die Kommunikation ohne Internet etwas schwierig, aber wir haben Hilfe von den super netten Nachbarn erhalten. Also auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und von Preis-Leistung top. Perfect Family Getaway

Cape Escape provided my family and I everything we needed to have the perfect family vacation. The house was simply beautiful, clean and well equipped. The sunsets we saw every night from the dock right out back were breathtaking, people didn't believe the pictures I took especially when I said there were no filters on them. My dayghters and husband enjoyed fishing every morning and the pool was a favorite of everyone. We were a short drive from beautiful beaches and overall had the most amazing time. Cape Escape is spacious that we all had our own space but had plenty of areas to come together as a family. We would definitely love to book again next summer!

4th of July Getaway

We loved our stay over the holiday week! The house was everything we had hoped for, and more. Pool was fantastic, canal was beautiful. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to stores and area activities. Would love to stay here again. It’s not easy to find a home that satisfies the needs of adults and children, but this one absolutely did!

Escape from Wisconsin

The house was very nice and had the amenities needed. Everyone enjoyed the pool and feeding the turtles from the dock; a very relaxing vacation all around!! The only feedback to mention would be the pressed checkout time with the request of washing, drying and folding towels prior to a 10am. The other item would be the cleanliness of the pool area; specifically the torn rattan on the dinning chairs, mold on the rugs and dirt debris along the perimeter of the Lanai.

Anniversary

My wife and I had a wonderful stay! The house was VERY clean. The view and sunsets were amazing. We had to bump our trip up a week and the property manager was absolutely amazing and got everything changed ASAP on a Sunday! We loved it there.

My Wife and three children just came back from the Cape Escape, it was incredible from check in to check out it was seemless. The property itself is clean, well designed, it truly felt like home. Property Manager was Unreal!, 5 stars all around. Will be returning to the Cape Escape.

Vacation

House is just as shown from photos, very clean. The pool/spa was having issues while there, but overall a great house and good location. Once you take the time to map out your surroundings most places were easily accessible in about a 10 minute drive or less.

This home is a wonderful home on a wide freshwater spreader that has amazing sunsets and great fishing. As soon as you will walk in you will feel like you are on vacation. This vacation will be one for the books with plenty of great memories and stories. The home is very open with large rooms for everyone to relax and enjoy. Spend time out by the pool, in the hot tub, or catching some fish on the dock. There is a completely fenced in yard, 2 kayaks, 4 bikes, and a stroller. You have everything you should need to make your vacation as comfortable as possible. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and a ping pong table all for your family to enjoy. The Cape Coral Yacht club beach is about 35 min away., Sanibel and Fort Myers Beaches are on average 45 - 60 min away depending on traffic. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, grocery stores and shopping. Whatever you choose to do on your vacation is up to you.. even if you choose to do nothing but lay out in the lanai you will have a wonderful time.
