Newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage located on the Trent Severn waterway between Pigeon and Sturgeon lake. Enjoy your morning coffee on waterside deck. propane BBQ. Well equipped kitchen, central heating, internet, Xbox, big screen tv, games, DVDs, VHS tapes in sunroom. Walk to town. Enjoy shopping or dining at many of the fabulous restaurants, bars and coffee shops all close by. Lakeside fire pit to enjoy s’mores.

Extremely poor communication. The property was not ready on our check in date so we had to delay our arrival with significant inconvenience and little empathy from the owner. The property was very clean on the inside but was not as well kept outside as one would expect. Exterior pictures are deceiving. Location is awesome. We still have not be able to receive our refund for the one night. The owner is not responding to me at all and VRBO and Expedia just keep referring me back to the owner. If it is not resolved soon it may be the last time I book a private accommodation through this channel.

Good location for walks

House great layout, river enjoyable. Fantastic back porch with roof. You can walk to downtown easily or have country road walk. A/C works great through heatwaves. Big tv. Comfortable place.

Not as advertised

As an average property on the water it was ok. More of a cottage than a home. The furnishings were ok, it was tidy but not clean. It was presented online with considerable "wow" impact. Other than the view, the reality was, it lacked any "wow" impact. Mixed reviews when assistance on site was required. The first interaction was pleasant and personable. The second left us feeling like we had interrupted their day. It was quite disappointing as the location and the property had promise, however, TLC was definitely required.

Kids Will Like This Place

A very nice 'cottage'. Inside clean, freshly painted, with updated windows, kitchen, bath, flooring. Poor curb appeal...looks like a 1970'ish home in an area of muli-millon dollar homes...nothing new'ish outside. Hot tub didn't work and looked like it had not in awhile. The 'For Sale' sign on the front lawn was a surprise! We did enjoyed our stay, but the online pics lead us to expect more.

Excellent Waterfront Cottage

Beautiful cozy waterfront cottage, excellent communication by the host, walking distance to amenities and local town which has lots of shops and restaurants. Comfy living space and lots of games to play with the family. We had a great time! Will recommend this cottage 100%

Wish Our Stay Was Longer

Melissa and John were excellent hosts. They allowed us to check in early and went out of their way to assure that we had everything we needed. The location was so convenient and it was fun to watch the boats go up and down the river. We were able to catch many fish right off the dock! People in the neighborhood were friendly and helpful. The large porch was enjoyable when it did rain and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated on the hot July days. We would definitely rent from John and Melissa again!

15 plus years of coming to Bobcaygeon and this was the BEST location!

This location was recently renovated and was perfect for our family of 4. The owners were super responsive and happy to help if needed. We stayed busy with our boat (fishing and tubing) biking into town for coffee and shopping, going out for dinner in town, campfires and quiet dock side coffee in the morning while the teens slept. We have stayed all over pigeon lake over the last 15 plus years and this location was top notch! Hope to come back again!

Awesome location!

This was a great place to stay at. It is right on the water so we practically spent most of our time relaxing by the dock while our pup had the time of his life in the water. Since it’s on the channel that opens onto the lake, it’s a great spot to go kayaking or paddle boarding from too.
