Huge & modern 1 Bdr/2 Bath Condo (700 sqft) at a Diamond Resort right by the Del Mar Fair & Racetrack (a great way to avoid having to pay for parking for the Fair or the beach) & about 0.7 mile walk to the beach. The condo has a 1 king & 1 queen sofa bed. Free high speed Wifi. The resort has amazing amenities (pool, 2 Jacuzzi, fire pits, gym, clubhouses, game rooms, sauna rooms, tennis club & courts, spa/salons, restaurants, etc). Hotel grade professional cleaning & sanitation to prevent COVID.

The listing did not accurately portray this rental. It was very clean, just a typical nice hotel room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom with king bed. The rental listed a king bed in a separate bedroom; the living room area listed a queen bed and a double fold out couch. There was no queen bed and a very uncomfortable thin mattress on a fold away couch. Due to the fact that the beds were not as advertised, our family had a very uncomfortable night staying at this rental. The pool and hot tub were nice. Everything was in great condition, but I cannot give a nice review based on the inaccurate bed situation. It was not what we needed. I had zero contact from the host.

The property was in a great location to go to the race track. Great restaurants nearby, pool area was also nice.Would stay again.

Nice and quiet accommodations in a good area for beach, walking, restaurants, etc. We really appreciated the nice laundry room in the complex and size of living space. We would stay again if we return to the area.

Great Location!

We took a quick family getaway, and found this spot perfectly located. It is an easy walk to breakfast, coffee, shopping and most importantly the beach. It was quieter than expected too!! The property was clean, well stocked, and the check in was seamless.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay here! It was ideal location close to everything. We also enjoyed the shared outdoor area with a heated pool and hot tub. The room itself was small but we made it work! We would definitely come back.

Fantastic condo stay!

We enjoyed staying at this resort! This 1 bedroom condo was on the 2nd floor, very clean, and overlooked the pool/spa area. The bed was comfortable (we did not use the sofa bed) and having 2 bathrooms/2 showers was so awesome to have traveling with a teenager! They provide pool towels and in the evening, the fire-pits and grills are fun amenities to use. There is stair and elevator access to the 2nd floor. The location was very convenient - close by restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. It is also right across the street from the fairgrounds. Just beware, if there is an event going on, there can be a lot of traffic so allow more time to travel . The beach is a pretty long walk, but only about a 5 min drive. John, our host was very responsive and checked on us occasionally to make sure everything was going well. Have a living space and kitchen was key since we stayed here for a week. Overall, we enjoyed this place and would definitely stay here again!

Both rooms feature a flat screen TV, lots of closet space and lamps. The living room features a queen sized sofa bed.
