Beautiful, professionally cleaned large (1000 sqft) 1 Bdr Apartment at the Sand Pebbles Resort in Solana Beach, an exclusive area of San Diego. The unit is perfect for holidays, spring break, or a relaxing family vacation next to the beach.

It is in a prime location by the beach (400 ft away, 4 min walk) and the world famous Del Mar Fair & Racetrack. It is next to restaurants, family & nightlife activities, & public transportation. It is minutes from La Jolla and in close proximity with easy access to everywhere in San Diego, including the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Museums, Torrey Pines, Downtown, Gaslamp, and the Convention Center.

The complex has a brand new heated Pool & Jacuzzi, gaming & laundry rooms, BBQ grills, on site support staff with beach amenities, and more. The condo is completely furnished with marble granite kitchens, furniture, appliances, flat screen TV/internet, and etc. There is on site staff to help you with any needs. In addition, we live nearby if you need any help with anything.

Finally, the condo is professionally cleaned prior to arrival and there are on site cleaners. We use hotel grade disinfectants for cleaning that make it perfect for those travelers with COVID

This is a perfect unit for couples, solo & business travelers, & families.

Close proximity to beach, and downtown Solana-easy walks. Very basic amenities compared to other VRBOs I have stayed at. Used to having info about the area and/or guest book for the unit and area. Would stay here again.

The apartment was in a great location close to shopping and the beach. Calling it a resort is a stretch. It's an apartment complex with a pool area. The check in process (granted it was Christmas Day) was not as communicated. The office was not open and the sign about the lock box for the key and self check in was never communicated from the host. There was a small sign in the corner of a bulletin board. The host contacted us about extending our stay which we confirmed via message and with the front desk. He claimed I never responded. His voicemail was full and he didn't check texts, VRBO messages, or calls from the VRBO app. It was not stocked as fully as other VRBO rentals we've used. The office was not staffed during advertised hours, which made checking out beach items or laundry soap impossible. There is no AC and no instructions for heat, which should be explicitly stated. There is no elevator which is on the "resort" web site but not in the listing. It was a nice, basic place for a couple -- in a fantastic and safe location. I wouldn't stay again with a teenager on the pull out bed (uncomfortable). The main reason for the lower rating is the poor communication from the host and issues it caused for our stay.

Great spot for a getaway

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Host was very accessible and accommodating to some last minute adjustments in plans. The location was great with the beach a short walk away, the property was clean and the complex was well maintained. The kids loved the place as well. The porch was great in the evening. Would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Great spot in Solana Beach. Walk to convenient shops and Cedros.

Clean and tidy simple accommodation in a great location with easy access. Noise levels were totally reasonable. Only issue was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty/slow, which affected my ability to take a meeting call. Good closet space and nice second bedroom that was useful for children.

Family friendly property

The property was nice and spacious. Property is set up like an apartment. Could hear kids running back and forth and playing at the pool. Pool was heated and hot tub is nice. Definitely a popular spot at all hours. Took us a few days to finally find the beach. Maps are not very accurate and the information book was not up-to-date. The beach is quite a far walk. Down the road, across the street and lots of stairs. Definitely more than “400” feet. Very concerning that our key was the same key to open the gates, laundry room and game room. With assuming other guests keys did the same, made us feel our room security was not safe. Would consider staying here again if listing was updated with correct information with less over exaggerations.

The unit is perfect for holidays, spring break, or a relaxing family vacation next to the beach. Its been recently remodeled and is located in the Sand Pebbles Resort in Solana Beach/Del Mar area of San Diego, next to the beach and Del Mar racetrack. It is minutes from La Jolla and in close proximity with easy access to everywhere in San Diego, including the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and Museums, Torrey Pines, Downtown, Gaslamp, and the Convention Center.

The condo is completely furnished with marble granite kitchens, furniture, appliances, flat screen TV/internet, and etc. The resort has a brand new pool and jacuzzi/spa, patio dinning, BBQ grills, gaming and laundry rooms, beach amenities, and more. The condo is within a block of the beach and day and nightlife activities. There is on site staff to help you with any needs. In addition, we live nearby if you need any help with anything.

Finally, the condo is professionally cleaned prior to arrival and there are on site cleaners. We use hotel grade disinfectants for cleaning that make it perfect for those travelers with COVID concerns.
