Renovated Waterfront Cottage & Getaway on Brady Lake

Looking for a large dock set-up to relax on with Muskoka chairs? A BBQ and patio with lake views to enjoy a beautiful sunset? Or maybe the sound of the loons in the morning while savoring a hot cup of coffee is what you are seeking?

Explore Minden Hills while staying in this renovated cottage. Located only 2.5 hours from Toronto on Brady Lake, Minden Hills. Nestled on a smaller lake which is great for families or people looking to enjoy water sports and boating in a quieter setting! 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, on an open lot and point to give you 180 views of the lake. This is a family cottage that we enjoy and rent during the months of June and July 2024. We use MosquitoBuzz to keep mosquitos and bugs to a minimum! We provide boats including kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddle board and row boat in addition to beach toys, outdoor games and firewood.

Fully equipped kitchen with all dishes, cutlery and utensils, pots and pans, toaster, blender to coffee maker. Patio furniture and a propane BBQ with propane provided. Private parking: 3 vehicles fit well in the driveway. Looking forward to having you enjoy our oasis from everyday life!

For over 15 years we have been renting our cottage to families - many have returned for years and are pleased to now be making it available on Vrbo for the first time. Families have loved a fully stocked, comfortable and spacious property!

Other Things to Note:

Starlink Internet is available/ Laptop required for streaming television and entertainment
Bring Your Own towels and linens, toiletries and other essentials.
No smoking indoors.
No fireworks.
No additional guests other than the amount you booked.
No music past 10:00pm - we want your stay comfortable and enjoyable but we respect our neighbours.

A great place for kids
The property was great - lots of room for the two little ones to run around, and play in the shallow lake water at the private beach. The cottage was comfortable, clean and welcoming. It was nice to meet the owners, who familiarized us about the place. Overall a great place for a summer break.

Wonderful property
We had a great time! Plenty of space for all of us (5 adults and 3 kids). Tons to do and the listing was exactly as advertised. Perfect beach area for kids to play and walk into the water. Would definitely recommend this place and would consider staying again!

Oasis by the lake
Well, we were looking to relax but also to have fun. The Minden Hills cottage has it all! Kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, peddle boat, row boat... and let's not forget horseshoes! The cottage is very well equipped, clean and so well maintained. Because it's fenced in, our dog had a blast too with his new-found freedom... with plenty of chipmunks, red squirrels and frogs to chase. The owners are super friendly and were there to greet us and explain all the ins and outs of the cottage which was very welcoming and helpful. We all loved it! Thanks Elaine and Colin!

Wonderful Vacation Home at Brady Lake
Our family of six adults just vacationed at this Brady Lake cottage for six nights. It is exactly as listed. The experience certainly exceeded our expectations. The property owners met us upon arrival and gave us a tour. The cottage is fully equipped both inside and out. We particularly enjoyed all of the watercraft. Fishing was great too. The water is clear and warm. There is lots of provided firewood. There were enough life vests and water shoes for all of us. There are a lot of games and sporting equipment. We played horseshoes for the first time. We also loved birdwatching- woodpeckers, kingfisher and loons. It was a perfect week. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcome.

Great time at Brady Lake
We just got home from a 6 day vacation at this beautiful cottage. The property is HUGE and well maintained with an amazing fenced yard. Our kids loved it and our 2 dogs LOVED it even more!!! It was perfect for our 2 dogs to run around off leash and for the kids to play all kinds of sports like badminton, frisbee and catch. My husband wishes he had brought his pitching wedge 😄🏌️‍♂️ The owners met us at check in and we’re very helpful in showing us around the cottage and the property. We could tell from the moment we met them that they were dog lovers and that the cottage was pet friendly and stress free. They were also very responsive to questions we had while we were there. The lake has clear water (very few weeds) and there is a sandy beach beside the dock. The kids had fun fishing and jumping off the swim dock. We rented a sea doo from Kawartha Adventures for a few days.. There is an easy to access boat launch close by where they launched it in the water for us. The owners were very upfront and communicated well about the amenities with there being no dishwasher or washing machine and no wifi. Cell service was a bit better than I expected from their description. Overall we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely go back. Tracy
