Our stay was good. Fire kept us warm. Inside and the hosts were lovely, friendly and accommodating. They had a fire going for us for when we got there. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and dining dishes, and we had no issue making a complete Thanksgiving dinner!The toilet was a pain as it did not flush properly consistently, and even for two people struggled to work...and the shower is very small (can't really even bend over). The hosts did tell us about the bathroom when we arrived but it's worth mentioning so others know ahead of time. Otherwise it suit our needs fine.

Great fall getaway

Private cottage perfectly located at the base of the lake providing great views of fall foliage. Lovely outdoor patio patio set up. 2 to 3 minutes from Minden town and so accessible restaurants and groceries. The hosts were accommodating and friendly.

Spectacular waterfront and killer lounging doc

Great cottage on a lovely lake. Zoltan was a great host. Great set up for staring at the water, particularly early in the morning.

Weekend stay

Great weekend visit. Lovely property, quiet. Screened in porch is lovely. Small hiccup on check-in but host was quick to respond. Only negative was slow flushing toilet.

Heaven in Minden

We had an amazing stay at Calon Cottage. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night. Furnished adorably, ample space for a family of 4 (or more!) to stay. The screened in lanai and the ample outdoor spaces including the dock, firepit and outdoor patio area made this location perfect. We would definitely stay again. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thanks so much!

Loved Our Stay!

We had a wonderful stay on Minden Lake. The property was beautiful and the cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We loved the covered porch and ate most of our meals out there. Communication with Roman was so easy, and both he and his family were extremely kind and welcoming - they even went as far as to take us on a boat ride around the surrounding lake. Highly recommend this property!

Great For Families

My family of 5 loved our stay at the cottage. Being a 30 second walk to the water was incredibly convenient and the little beach was great for my toddler. My 5 year old loved the slide on the floating dock too. The screened in porch with the comfy couch was ideal for book reading and naps. The lake was really nice to paddle on too, maybe next time i’ll make it to the rapids up stream! Just note that the bunky is behind the cottage, its not the building right on the water. Inside, the cottage had everything we needed. When you go, make sure to stop at kawarthas ice cream which is only a 2 minute drive away! (My flavour of choice is dockside cappuccino). Overall i would definitely recommend this cottage. Its also worth noting that the owners were very receptive of us and responded quickly to any inquiries. Thanks Zoltan and Annette!

Peaceful and elegant!

We really enjoyed our stay at Calon Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The porch was a great place to relax and read! The lake is very quiet, with nice sunsets. The hosts were very helpful and responded immediately to any questions. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful stay at minden home

Property was great, very close to city if anything is needed. Host replied in timely manner and was there if anything was needed. Loved the stay, beautiful property.
