Updated Pet friendly beach home, large screened porch, walk to beach!

Well-appointed and pet friendly (Dogs only-$200 non refundable fee per dog) beach home, approximately 1.5 blocks from the nearest beach access in Isle of Palms. Located on a large double corner lot, and featuring a small fenced indoor/outdoor space perfect for your dog. Guests will be sure to enjoy the large screened porch and updated kitchen and baths (2019).

**NEW FOR 2025: Tesla Electric Vehicle wall Charger inside garage (11.5 KWH charger, Tesla 60 ampere, type 2). Non-Tesla EV owners- please bring your own CSS adapter.

This charming beach home is designed for family and friends to enjoy one another's company, while unwinding from the surf and sand. Relax with a drink on the screened porch, rinse off underneath the hold/cold outdoor shower, enjoy a meal on the patio, or play some cards in one of the two living spaces. The owners understand that your dog is an extension of the family, and have their comfort in mind too! They encourage you to use the fenced outdoor space with attached doggy door leading to a fenced area within the garage (please inspect the fenced area first to ensure the space is suitable for holding your dog).

All three bedrooms, two full baths, and the two living spaces are all located on the same elevated level. Each living space is host to a flat-screen TV with Roku streaming capabilities. While there is no cable TV package available (living room does have some antenna stations), guests are welcome to log onto their individual streaming accounts to enjoy their favorite shows and movies. The garage and beach gear storage area can be accessed from a stairwell within the interior of the home, as well as from the front and back of the home. Making it very convenient when moving your dog in and out of the house. Dogs are welcome for a $200 non refundable pet fee per dog. WIFI and Linens Included.

Fall therapy at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was wonderful for our family. It is an older, well maintained, simple beach house. We had room to separate for different activities, with great gathering places for games upstairs, in the basement, on the porches and outside. Bathrooms were both updated, as was the kitchen, but who needs the showers? We all loved the outside shower. Great storage for bikes, strollers, wheelchair. Understand the hurricane shutters, but they do block the views. Great location! Easy walk to the beach, convenient to so many areas. We will be back.

Charming family and very dog-friendly beach house. Porch door & 2 gates, a dog could be left outside or inside. We loved that the beach access was a short walk away, outdoor shower, books galore, games, and great main floor layout for our family of 6 to hang out. A friend of mine and her 3 other family members stopped by to visit for dinner. Plenty of space. We plan to come back.

West Family stay in Isle of Palms

We loved the house and the location is ideal for the beach and access to the beatch. The only real complaint we had was the bed guest bedroom adjacent to the master is absolutely awful. The mattress neeeds to be replaced. Noone in my family could sleep on it Maybe a larger television? Beyond that...we loved it and would posssibly stay there again.

Great beach house

comfortable for a group of 8 - lots of beach equipment and bikes were appreciated. House is roomy with several rooms/area for gathering. large well supplied kitchen. Would be nice to have additional sleeping room or pool table/games on lower level. Could actually sleep a few more folks.

Winter on Isle of Palms

The location is wonderful, on the south end of the island, a quick 1 1/2 block walk to the beach. The space, room sizes and amenities are just fine. Working with Island Realty over the past 2 years has been exceptional. The property is not new, and the minor items that infrequently needed attention met with a very quick response from Island. One item that could use improvement is internet access. We are not sure if the frequent buffering is a condition on IOP or if the house itself could use an upgrade. A minor item, however, as we would highly recommend the property and the rental agency.

Nice home close to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice home with everything you need. We came into town to visit family. This house is well stocked and clean. Super close walk to the beach. Home is comfortable, but could be updated a little (fresh paint and redo on dated decor). Kitchen has been remodeled, which was ok (a Kcup coffee maker would be a great addition). The bathrooms are small, but clean. I would suggest putting the King bed in the room with the more private, larger bathroom. The basement game room is great to have but needs some additional chairs or something- could be an awesome space. A little rearranging and fresh paint throughout would really make this home fantastic.

Fabulous House

The photos on the listing doesn't do this house justice! The house was fantastic! Updated, clean and plenty of space for everyone. Fully stocked kitchen for holiday gathering. My only complaint is that there weren't any extra trash bags. Also the bedspreads were stained and not clean. Regardless we will definitely be back!.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family consists of six adults, two children and a dog. This house worked perfectly for us. It was clean, the kitchen was updated and all cupboards were labeled with contents. The bedrooms were decent sized and each had a closet which was helpful. There was enough room in one of the bedrooms to put an air mattress for the two kiddos. We were there for a family wedding so the large space in the basement for a dog was perfect. It was a close walk to the beach and we enjoyed time spent on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay again!

IOP Rental

The house is very musty and the bedroom ceiling fan caked with dust which was not ideal for someone with allergies. Can’t believe this was not listed on other reviews. On a positive note it was nice to be able to bring our dog, the location was nice, and the house was well stocked.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Nice square footage and good size bedrooms too.We rotated family and friends in all week and never went over the 8 occupancy, but everyone loved it! It is an easy walk down 3rd Avenue to the ocean. Walked each morning on beach with dogs around to Breach Inlet and back which is even nicer than regular ocean with more breeze. Fantastic updated kitchen and greatly stocked to boot!

Great location to beach

The home fit our family of 6, very nicely. The beach cannot be seen, but is a short walk. The yard is unusable due to ants, and the outdoor shower needs a new shower head and was unusable. The screened porch was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Additional towels would have been nice as we were given one per person for a four night stay. We rented a golf cart from a nearby vendor to get to town which was fun and the company was great. I flew in from Seattle and was instructed I needed to get to the office before closing to “pick up the keys” which was actually a sheet of paper with the key code on it. It would have made sense to email that information. Departure was simple. The garbage can was at the end of the driveway the entire time and still full from the last tenants, so we took our trash with us when we left. Luckily my daughter lives in an apartment close by in Mount Pleasant, so that was not an issue for us. Overall, the house was roomy and pleasant and we always love our time on IOP. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful and well maintained.
