Great house! Felt like home. Super clean, very comfortable and close to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the welcome gift Screened porch was lovely for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Family of 7 with one 5 year old and our pup! We will return!!

This is a GREAT comfy beach place. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Laid back place with a great large game room downstairs. Our grandsons loved the toys. Curved stairs we thought would be a challenge, the boys handled easily. Great downstairs shower....everything you need is here! Second time staying here and we would come again!

This house was a quirky cute vacation spot. There were ample living spaces on the lower level and the main floor w/ two great fireplaces that would allow for the perfect way to spend a cool winter evening. A few downs...The stairs between floors were very narrow metal circular stair cases, a little scary and difficult to navigate w/ luggage or larger objects. The third bedroom and bathroom were a bit misleading, as it appeared to be an attic space addition (good use of the space though). The bathroom for this room had a small tub, but no shower and it was located in an eave with limited standing height space; I would call this a 1/2 or 3/4 bath vs a full bath. The lower floor had a bathroom with a beautiful new walk-shower, but the walls were cinder block. The light in the dining area over the table did not work. A comfortable and enjoyable stay overall!

Re: what a wonderful home away from Home

We had another excellent stay at the Shell house on Folly Beach. We have stayed here twice before, and always enjoy the well stocked kitchen. The comfortable beds and bedding! The quiet home nestled among the trees within walking distance of many restaurants shops and groceries

Folly was Fun!!

We had a really nice time. Location was great- beach was close. Residents were so friendly and it was great our dog could walk on lease on the beach.

We had a fabulous stay at Folly Beach and the house was perfect for our family of 5. The beach, the pier, and all the shops and restaurants were only a couple minutes walk away!! We are already looking forward to next year!!
