Situated near the beach in a peaceful neighborhood yet convenient to shopping, eateries, and explorations. Enjoy stunning sunsets or stargaze from the backyard around the fire pit. Beach essentials like chairs, umbrella, towels, and coolers are provided, along with bikes, grill, hammock, kitchenette, and a comfortable sofa. Relax in true Outer Banks fashion. The Bungalow is NOT a party house. No Smoking. No pets allowed-(don't ask) Host to greet each guest upon arrival. Check-in between 3:00 and 10:00 p.m.
The Bungalow is the downstairs studio. It is private and separate from the upstairs. One cat lives on premise. Gate must be latched at ALL times.
No henna, tanners, bronzers, and hair dyes on furniture, towels, bedding. Do not run AC/Heat with door/windows open. Pit fires must be preapproved.

Amazing place!!

The Bungalow is an awesome place to stay! This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and we hope to come back again. The host was absolutely wonderful and gave us so much info and advice and that really helped make our vacation perfect.

The Bungalow

Kim provided a clean and welcoming stay for me and my partner. It was super easy to communicate and she had a lot prepared for people visiting Outer Banks. Everything she put into the Bungalow was thoughtful for guests. Extremely clean and a convenient area around activities. Would totally recommend the stay!

The property is in a perfect and gorgeous location. Property owner has literally thought of everything you could possibly want / need. very friendly and attentive. Great stay at a great place!!

We had a weekend away in the OBX. The place we clean, well stocked, and lots of great info on TV AC/Heat, and what to do in the are. Kim, the host was friendly and very helpful when we had to cut our trip short. We would stay again and recommend to everyone!

Absolutely Perfect Bungalow

We totally enjoyed our stay in this charming bungalow! Kim was a pleasure to meet and she has created such an amazing place to stay at Nags Head. The decor is perfect, kitchen is well-stocked and the bed is so comfortable! It was so nice to return to this place after long days of exploring the area! We definitely hope to stay here again someday…and highly recommend The Bungalow to others!

Perfect Cozy Getaway in Nags Head

We had a great stay at the Bungalow in Nags Head! The space is a charming, studio-style room with a comfortable living area, bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchenette—perfect for making simple meals like breakfast or lunch.The backyard was a highlight, with a beautiful view of the sound and stunning sunsets every evening. Perfect Nags Head Getaway

This cottage is perfect. You only need to bring your clothes and a bathing suit. Everything else is provided and very accessible. Great location and view of the bay. Also pool access with a beautiful view of the bay.

Our stay at the Bungalow was nothing short of amazing! Located next to the sound in a quiet neighborhood about 3 minutes from the main strip, it provided not only comfort and peace but also great convenience when we wanted to go do things in Nags head. Our host Kim was absolutely great, providing almost every amenity you need for vacation such as menus to restaurants, things to do in OBX, coolers, bikes, boogie boards, a hammock, a bonfire pit with a great sunset view and even two sweet cats who roam the yard in the afternoon! We would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great vacation. Thanks Kim!

Perfect little hideaway

Kim was a great host! The bungalow was perfect for us. It is equipped with everything you need for a stay at the beach. I forgot a few things and sure enough, the house had what I needed! Got a great nights sleep in the cozy bed too!Will definitely come back!

I am an Outer Banks local. My family owned and operated several restaurants, drive-ins, and a motel. I gained a passion for hospitality at a young age! I enjoy beachcombing, fishing, and walking the neighborhood. Being a host allows me to share my love for the beautiful Outer Banks and the place I’m lucky enough to call home!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Having grown up in Nags Head I am very partial to this town. I find the beaches to be wider and prettier. Nags Head tries to maintain the look and feel of what we call Old Nags Head Style. This refers to houses with cedar shakes, winding porches/decks, and shutters. I also find the town to be a little less congested and less commercialized. Old Nags Head Cove is in the heart of Nags Head. It is located along the water, close to Jockey’s Ridge State Park, and close to the beach.

The Bungalow is centrally located, nicely furnished, extremely clean, and packed with extra amenities! Convenient location if you want to: go to the beach, visit Manteo for lunch and shopping, try watersports, head south to Hatteras to check out the lighthouses, or go north to check out the other towns. This is a GREAT starting point to venture out. Or, just stay put. The Bungalow is a very relaxing place. Trees, birds, sunshine, patio, back yard, hammock, bike riding - or just chillin!
