Votre famille et vos amis adoreront ce charmeur de chalet du pĂȘcheur des annĂ©es 1950 qui a Ă©tĂ© soigneusement rĂ©novĂ© pour ramener le bon vieux temps, tout en prĂȘtant attention au confort des crĂ©atures.




Nous acceptons les animaux - WOOF! Nous avons une politique maximale de deux chiens, mais pas de frais supplémentaires pour les animaux. Situé en face d'un accÚs à la plage, le chalet se trouve sur un terrain semi-bord de mer. Ce chalet de deux chambres et une salle de bain vous permet de profiter d'un peu d'histoire. Les équipements incluent le WIFI, (3) télévisions à écran plat, une cuisine bien équipée.




Le chalet a été soulevé afin que vous puissiez profiter d'une vue sur le son. Regardez de magnifiques couchers de soleil et kitesurfeurs au loin. L'un des deux chalets sur place et une poignée de courts de chalet encore existants à Nags Head.

Back home visit

This was a great place to stay while visiting family. Quick walk to the beach. Dog friendly. And nice outdoor area with firepit. Will be back.

We came for fall fishing off the pier and we were very successful!!! This house is very close to the beach and Jeannette’s pier. Perfect size for our small family and pups. It’s a cute cabin with vintage vibes. Biggest downfall was that it needs a deep clean. Thick layer of dust on everything. Dog hair on comforters. Thick layer of dog hair under beds. The sinks and toilets were clean, however. Other people’s dogs chewed up the chair legs and had scratches on the dressers, stained living room chair, etc. The pictures in the listing are not completely up to date. There is a big house and long white fence to the left side of the property now so it’s a tight squeeze to park if you have a truck. The dryer was also out of commission so we couldn’t do laundry. That being said, we would stay here again. I just wanted to be honest about the cleanliness. It did not impact out stay that much. Thanks for having us.

The check in process was very easy! The home was very neat and the perfect size for myself, my fiancée and our pup! Near all of our favorite obx spots too! We did have an issue with the air conditioner BUT Mike & Lisa responded and had the issue taken care of right away!! Awesome tenants!

This cottage is in the perfect location! Right across the street from beach access and close to all the nice shops. It was pet friendly which was great! The host was amazing and continued to check in throughout our stay. We will definitely be booking another vacation here in the future.

This was a lovely place in a lovely location. I stayed at one of the "Just Coast" apartments, which are on the second floor with great light and air. There was a very easy check-in process, the recommendations for food made by the property owner were wonderful, you could walk across the street to the beach, or drive a few minutes to the National Seashore, there were lovely shops and food places nearby, but mostly the very laidback, relaxed, beautiful beachy atmosphere of both the rental and the location were wonderful. Can't wait to stay here again!

Very well taken care of,everything was great .Will be renting this again next year for our vacation, been coming to nags head for years,and this is by far the best home we have ever rented.mikeand lisa checked on us to see if we needed anything the day we checked in ,you don't get that from many property enwers or caretakeres

WARNING! For those bringing little dogs, I want to share a vital lesson I learned. During my recent five-day trip, I had to cut my stay short to ensure my furry friends' safety. I discovered and moved to a wonderful pet friendly oceanfront haven with a full kitchen at a lower cost, just a mile away at the Seafoam Motel. What I didn't realize initially was that the cottage in front of mine was managed by the same owner, and it was home to an 80lb dog with aggression issues. This dog attacked my innocent 5lb and 2lb Chihuahuas as they walked by, and it was only by quick reflexes that I saved them from harm. The dog tore through the screen door, and I had to swing my dogs in the air to safety while calling for help. The management's response was disheartening, as they refused to acknowledge the risk posed by aggressive dogs. I chose to prioritize my dogs' well-being and leave the next day. The aggressive dog's pet owner apologized and explained that their rescue dog had issues with other dogs, but it was a valuable reminder that our pets' safety is in our hands. Let's look out for one another and create a safe, harmonious environment for all our furry friends.Be safe when traveling and ask what type of dog/dogs will be in the cottage in front of this cottage.

Get away @ Tandem Cottage

The property was pretty much as described,except for arriving to a dirty toilet and lavatory sink which we quickly cleaned,ourselves,and half the amount of towels and washcloths needed for the two of us for our 4 day stay,after a couple of times contacting the caretakers and property manager, and a couple of days later it was taken care of. Good location acrosshwy 12 from beach access,and close to food and activities, plus shopping at Nags Head.Thecottage was good and would recommend to couples,for a great getaway to the obx

Such a lovely bungalow

Really can’t say anything about this place but WONDERFUL! The host was so very attentive with my texts. The house was extremely clean and there is nothing more inviting than to walk into a clean smelling house as we did here. The bedding sheets were crisp just as we like but a few more towels for people staying a week would have been nice. Also the house doesn’t have a vacuum cleaner just a broom and dust pan. For us that have furry shedding animals that sure could have been a plus to have a vacuum. I’m the type that likes to leave a place clean when I leave even tho I paid for the cleaning service. Speaking of which, the fact that they don’t even ask what kind or size of your animal is something that was refreshing. Lastly I would give them 5 stars and definitely be staying here again!!!

Easy and Relaxed Visit of Nags Head

Tandem Cottage was overall a wonderful place to stay and might make it our go to spot for vacation. The place was very clean and updated. Amenities and supplies were plentiful! Definitely the spot to rent for small family getaways with your fur babies.

Cozy Cottage

We loved this cottage and look forward to booking for our vacation next year! A cozy cottage big enough for us and our two corgis, steps away from the shoreline and a mile down the road from Food Lion and, of course, Duck Donuts! The proximity of the cottage to Hatteras was a plus for us as we love beach driving and also took a day to go down to Ocracoke! There is so much to see and do on OBX, Nags Head is a great location to go to multiple areas with ease. The property managers were wonderful and responsive.

Fantastic place

This place was fantastic. It was extremely clean! I would never have known that they allow dogs because of how clean it was. It had everything that we needed for a great week at the beach. The location is great. The beach access is very close. It’s an older cottage but it’s very cozy and clean. Everything that matters is updated and nice. The laundry is shared with the neighboring cottage. Not a problem at all, just something to be aware of. Checking in and out was hassle free. We didn’t have any problems but I could tell that the care takers and owner were available if needed. The communication was perfect. Highly recommended!

Loved it!

We loved this cottage! It was very clean and comfortable. It worked perfectly for us. The kitchen is very well stocked, with everything we needed to cook dinners, etc. The beds were comfortable and the house is quiet. The bathroom was very clean. The location is great, being very close to the beach (basically across the street), and restaurants and grocery stores. We didn't have any problems but the host responded quickly when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!
