House was nice and clean, stayed for 3 nights and everything was good. Location in the small town of Savannah was very convenient, a 1000 feet from a Jack's and Dairy Queen. Would have been a 5 star review but freezer was 100% full of the owner's items, 1 bedroom light would not work and many of the drawers where used up with items and had to leave my clothes in the suitcase. Not a big inconvenience, so I would stay here again if visiting Savannah in the future.

This is the place.

Nice place. Lots of room. Probably overkill for one person, but why get a hotel when you can get a house for a comparable price? The owner did a great job decorating. The place feels very homey and welcoming. She was right on top of responding to my questions.

Just what we needed

We stayed here to have conveniences to the catfish derby because our son was performing there. We were right down the road from all of the activities and had easy access to all the local restaurants and shops. This place provided us with all the convenience of home away from home.

Great property but with unwelcome commentary

The property was easy to find and attractive. It matched the description. There were several minor annoyances (listed below) which did not physically impact our stay but which did make us feel unwelcome. Pros: -Plenty of room in the house -bedrooms as described -convenient location Cons: -They were signs everywhere with various rules, telling us how we would be fined if we did not comply. The most entertaining one stated that if we laid in bed with tobacco products in our mouths, we would be charged an extra cleaning fee. -There were some excessive rules for this property. This include being told not to ball up the covers on the beds, and that we should swap the comforters for blankets from the closet rather than sleep with the comforters. -The keys were left for us in the mailbox rather than us being given a code for the keypad on the door. -Light switches were very difficult to find. This doesn’t seem like a big deal except it’s difficult to come into a strange house in the dark and not be able to get any of the lights turned on. We had to use our cell phone flashlights to figure it out. In the end, we found that the porch light was burnt out, and that the ceiling fan light was turned off with the pull cord, which was why the light switches weren’t working when we came in.

Fishing Tournament Lodging

We enjoyed our stay for our championship tournament on Pickwick Lake. The drive to the ramp was good. We all enjoyed ourselves and had whatever we needed for the stay, if something came up we were taken care of promptly!
