Cabine rustique au bord du lac mise à jour au lac Branch près de Bar Harbor / Acadia Nat'l Park

Laissez ce «camp» récemment rénové au bord du lac être le début des vacances de votre famille dans le Maine. Venez vous détendre le long du lac Branch, où vous pourrez nager, pêcher, écouter des huards, voir des aigles et escalader des rochers. Allez explorer l'Acadie, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill et d'autres endroits étonnants à moins de 40 minutes - randonnée, vélo, observation des baleines, cueillette de myrtilles / fraises, festivals de musique et bien plus encore. Rester dans et profiter de la lumière / lumineux grand plan d'étage ouvert, les brises de l'été, le charme de la maison du lac avec des commodités modernes tandis que les vagues au tour des roches à seulement 30 frais. Nous pouvons accueillir confortablement des groupes de 6 à 7 personnes (la chambre principale a un lit king, la 2e chambre a un matelas complet avec lit gigogne double, le loft a deux lits jumeaux et le salon a un lit queen). Pour l'été 2019, nous ajouterons 2 kayaks simples et 1 kayak tandem. Des gilets de sauvetage pour 4 adultes et 2 enfants (50 à 90 lb) sont fournis.

What a spectacular place - we will talking about this cabin for years!! So well stocked - kitchen, baths, items for lake fun. Can't beat hanging on flat rock - meals, sunsets - gorgeous. Easy drive to Acadia and things nearby. So awesome

We loved Fort Rock cabin. It was so private and quiet. The furnishings were beyond comfortable. We loved the main bedroom with king bed and surround windows to the lake and trees. The water filter was wonderful and saved on plastic which is so important for our planet. Thank you

This cabin is so charming and was the best part of our vacation. Highly recommend. The pictures don't even do this cabin justice. You have to see it in person. The rock beach and swim area is private and the water is crystal clear. We swam, went fishing and kayaking. It was wonderful. And the owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

We had a marvelous time at Sheree and Jason’s camp! The cabin was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and plenty of things to enjoy the lake. Our family really enjoyed fishing off flat rock and from the kayak’s and listening to the wind in the trees as we played games. Of course, Acadia was a highlight too. Communication with Sheree was excellent. Would highly recommend and wish we lived closer so we could do it all again!

Beautiful cabin with modern amenities. Very spacious and clean. Waking up to lake view every morning was amazing. We'll stocked kitchen with everything needed, just bring the food. Would definitely stay again.

The Flat Rock cabin was fantastic! We couldn't have hoped for a better location on Branch Lake. There was easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and kayaking (and the host-provided fishing rods and kayaks really came in handy). The location in near Ellsworth was very convenient for grocery shopping and visiting Acadia. And hot tip on Acadia: if it isn't your first time to Acadia and want to skip the crowds of Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island, then check out the Schoodic Peninsula. It's still Acadia National Park, you can still get your stamp and go on excellent hikes, and there are much fewer visitors.The cabin itself was great. Plenty of room for four people, and the two extra beds in the loft would definitely be great if you have kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, no need to worry about not having the right pots and pans to cook, or grilling utensils for the propane grill. Lastly, the TV came in clutch for the full day of rain we received. There is a bit of contention about not having technology when vacationing in Maine, but being able to hunker down during constant downpours and eat popcorn during movies is just perfect. And yes, the Wi-Fi is plenty fast to support all the streaming services.Oh, if you visit after the first of September, the apple orchard across the street will be open. We did that during one of the downpours and it was hilariously fun.

The camp was just as described. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You get to watch the most beautiful sunsets from inside or on the lake. It is also centrally located to many places of interest, great food, and beautiful scenery. Can't wait to book another visit!

Flat Rock provided a peaceful vacation week for our family. We loved the location. The lake was easily accessible and our kids swam almost every day. It was a short drive to both Bar Harbor and Bangor but for a day trip to each. The house had everything we really needed stocked for basics, we went into town and picked up groceries after making our plan and thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen/dining view of the lake.

My husband's grandfather built this camp in 1940. We recently purchased the cabin and have spent many months renovating it. We added AC/ heating, an extra bathroom, new electrical and plumbing, washer and dryer, many new windows and flooring. We love Flat Rock (which is an actually place on the backside of the cabin, for which is got it's name!). And we can't wait to share it with you....
