We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location is great as it is close to all the things the area has to offer and is 1/2 mile from the big wedding venue where we attended. Was new and clean with fireplace and fire pit. Gated and private too. The only suggestion is the windows in master needs tinted like other bedroom or some window treatments for privacy. The driveway where it meets the road needs some fill. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

This cabin was absolutely adorable. It was immaculately clean, smelled wonderful and had a brand-new feel! They provided everything we needed. Complimentary coffee for the Keurig, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, laundry pods etc. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of bedding and pillows! The fireplace was great and easy to work and the hot tub was wonderful! It was one of the nicest cabins I have stayed in!In the weeks prior to our stay the host was very efficient at responding to anything I asked.However, check-in was a bit of a debacle. As of the morning of our first day I had no instructions on how to access the cabin. I reached out to get information and did not hear back. As we got closer to the location our cell signal stopped working and we still didn’t have directions for checking in. There is a gate with a code plus the door code. We had neither and couldn’t access the property.We drove to an area with a better signal and called a few times with no answer. Finally the host called back and there was some kind of miscommunication with them thinking that VRBO sent the directions when they actually didn’t (I did receive a message from VRBO but it ONLY had info for checking out. Not in.)At first the host seemed annoyed but was very nice when they realized it was not our fault. Overall this was a fantastic trip and the cabin was wonderful. Just make sure you have your check in info prior to being in the area. In case you lose cell service.

Great Property

We enjoyed the "cabin" during our visit to NC. We saw a small baby bear, many deer and lots of birds from the cabin early in the morning during our stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing Little Getaway!

My husband and our two sons had an amazing weeeknd snowed in on your property!! We just loved the seclusion and coziness of the cabin. The snow sleds were such a fun surprise!!

Thanksgiving in the mountians

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at the property! Everything was clean and beautifully decorated! We love trying a different spot in the NC mountains each year, and this was definitely one of our favorites! I highly recommend this house. It was perfect for our family of 4.

A Great Long Weekend

We had a nice family getaway to this beautiful mountain house. The hosts were very nice and helpful people. We spent most of our time exploring the different places around the area. Most of which were less than 20 minutes in any direction from the house. Our only regret is not booking more days. We will be visiting again soon!

Lovely cabin, wonderful hosts

I was so impressed with this little cabin! Exceptionally clean and well appointed - the complimetary coffee pods (and creamer!) was a blessing not having had time to stop before checking in. Check in was a breeze and the hosts were responsive and very accommodating. If you are attending an event at Appalachian View, the location could not be more convenient. Would highly recommend.

The house and property were very clean when we arrived. Check in was about as easy as it gets and the location is great! Close to town but still secluded. The hot tub was amazing and again very clean! We highly recommended staying here!
