FULLY ENCLOSED FENCED IN BACKYARD. In a peaceful friendly neighborhood, this home is perfectly located & DOGS STAY FREE (ONE small dog allowed). A larger dog or extra dog will be considered for an extra fee. No dogs on furniture. Remember to bring doggy beds! No smoking in the house or porch. The beautiful ocean beach is only 14 miles away, quaint intercoastal Southport with shops, restaurants & museums 9 miles away, city of Wilmington on the Cape Fear River (ILM airport) 25 min away and Myrtle Beach an hour away.
A ferry ride from Southport will take you to Fort Fisher & a short drive will take you to Fort Anderson/Brunswick Town which has fascinating history. Brunswick Nature Park for a hike is a few miles away along with the beautiful park and nature trail of Belville not far. The heartwarming river walk in Wilmington is an added bonus to the many attractions of the city.
Nearby 18 hole golf courses, parks and a swimming beach, pickle ball, basketball courts, playgrounds, fitness center & disc golf are in the Boiling Spring Area.
Home offers beach chairs & pads, a fully equipped kitchen, open front porch for coffee & sunsets, screen porch for meals and relaxing, backyard is very appealing for a picnic with camp grill, fire pit, yard games of horseshoes, bocce ball, etc.

I was really happy with our stay . The house was very nice and in a quiet neighborhood. It was a little far from the beach but well worth the drive. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with. WiFi

The house was cute and clean the tv’s didn’t always work it was so far from everything which wasn’t made clear if you needed a loaf of bread it was a good 20 minutes away to far from the beaches as so dark at nite outside only little lites couldn’t really see we had our dog with us not sure but it was boring because of the location.

Family Vacation

The stay here was PERFECT! The house was amazing! It was myself, my husband, my 21 y/o daughter, and her boyfriend and there was more than enough room for everyone. Hitting up the Seafood and Farmers Markets were a big hit for meals! While here we went to several beaches for peaceful, picking up shells beaches go to Caswell (it was my favorite) for waves fun go to Freeman ! The Boardwalk at Wilmington was really enjoyable as well! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOUSE IS PERFECT FOR THE PRICE AND LOCATION! It is PEACEFUL and still close to everything! We would tell everyone to come here!

This property was amazing!!! I would stay here every time I come to NC if I could! The house was beautiful and the amenities were great! The bedrooms were all very lovely, the bathrooms were great, the kitchen was beautiful, and the outdoor spaces for the property were immaculate! Overall, this is one of the cutest properties I’ve stayed at!

Lovely

You'll love this place. It's very clean, cozy, and really cute. Backyard is fenced in and is great for kids or pets. Beds are very comfortable. It's very quiet there so you sleep well. It is in a rural area, so the roads can get very dark for driving at night. Harris Teeter is only about 20 minutes away for shopping, as well as restaurants. So even though it's rural,there are conveniences that aren't too far away. We really enjoyed our stay!

Family time

This is a beautiful house in an area where we have several relatives. During our stay, we got to visit with some that we haven’t seen in years. The front and back yards of the property were beautifully landscaped.The fire pit and horse shoes in the back were our favourite outdoor activity. Inside the house was perfect. Comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen were appreciated.We would definitely book this property again in the future.

Great vacation home

We were there for 5 days and house was furnished with anything we needed. Beds were comfortable and house was very tidy. Would definitely come back and stay if ever in the area again.

Excellent Accommodations

The backyard of this property is divine! We had an excellent stay with just about everything we needed. Clean and cutely decorated with a little whimsy. The hosts were responsive and very kind. We were able to go exploring in Wilmington, as well as Oak Island, which both were about 25mins away. I think the only thing we wished we had had was salt & pepper (and possibly some cooking spray) in the kitchen. Other than that, this was a well-kept home that made for a very relaxing vacation! Thank you, again!

Home away from home!

We were so thankful to stay in this lovely home while we were in transition after selling our house. It is a comforting place, and felt like being welcomed into a friend's home. Our needs were planned for in a very thoughtful way, even in details such as nostalgic dishes to use, and lovely quilts. The home is decorated in a lovely, comforting, and artistic way. We also enjoyed the nice porches and the fenced yard with a fire pit. The area is great too - very quiet. Our family loved driving through the farmland near the neighborhood, getting to regularly see horses and cows. Colleen is a great host - very thoughtful, and is quick to answer any questions. We highly recommend this home!

Settling getaway from the big apple

Very beautiful gem in a quiet neighborhood
 house very clean spotless. Equipped with everything you need for your stay. Enjoyed the back yard fire pit, and mostly bbq with good weather. Really smooth process in checking in. The host is amazing she helped us in any questions we had and also invited us to a concert in town. Beach is near by very convenient. Will be definitely back in the future. Thank you for the hospitality.

Lovely Home

The home was spotless. Everyone said their beds were good to sleep in. There was enough room for everyone. The kitchen was spacious along with the dining area. The location was very private and away from busy areas.

The home showed much better in person than in the on-line photos.

The home exceeded my expectations not only by how it looked inside but by all the carefull preparation that was done to prepare it for visitors. Everything that was needed was provided and beyond. The home decorations and furnishings were very nice and some were even hand made, including antique pillow covers. The home was very clean and comfortable.

My wife and I are so pleased with our stay. If I am in Southport/Wilmington area in the near future, this would be our first choice. The rental was spotless, quite and offered a fire pit to share the days events with friends and family. The attention to detail and the location to the local airport offered all I could wish for. We made our home a great place to be. With morning coffee on the front porch to grilling, picnics, yard games, and campfires in the back. Inside gives you a fully equipped kitchen for those gourmet meals! Puzzles, games, books and high speed internet are there to enjoy.
