Rain Forest Edge with an Ocean View, close proximity to many island activities!

This conveniently located tropical apartment with beautiful rain forest and ocean views is minutes from El Yunque National Rain Forest, Rio Mar Golf Club and Resort, and the famous Luquillo Beach and Kiosks. The rental situated on the upper level of the Owners home, but it comes with a lot of privacy! The space has its own gate entrance and parking area, and separate yard and entry from the rest of the house. We have dogs (and work in dog rescue) but they are gated away from the guests.

This place is decorated in colorful Caribbean style alongside vintage Spanish tiles and beautiful murals and artwork done by Local Artists. The rooms are spacious, and there is AC to cool off with in both bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom (one bedroom is currently a cool water shower only, but that is also very refreshing after the hot island climate and a day outdoors). There is a lovely Balcony showing off views of El Yunque and Luquillo Beach and town in the distance.

This apartment has a separate gate and driveway, separate entrance, a fenced yard and secure off street parking and a balcony with a view. Enjoy the famous Luquillo Sunrise each morning from the balcony, or watch the occasional fireworks from the Wyndham as you stargaze at night.

Enjoy the convenience of heading to the rainforest and having time for some delicious breakfast at one of the local restaurants AND going to Luquillo beach and kiosks in the same day, or choosing a different beach each day because there are 6 located within a 10 minute drive! Take the beach chairs and soak in the sun.

Carabali adventure park is five minutes away by car. San Juan is only a 40 minute drive and you can spend a day in the historical old town.

Whatever you are looking for, this apartment is in a very convenient location to get there.

Our stay was wonderful, location was great, close to many things we wanted to see and do.Owners have thought of everything. Nicely equipped beach towels, beach chairs , cooler to use at the beach. Owners are very nice, friendly, helpful with recommendations. Beds are very comfortable !!! Overall, we would recommend this property!!!

Great space!

This cute little apartment was perfect for us. It was near our conference location and very close by restaurants and the beach. The host was super welcoming and such a kind heart. The home was cosy and clean and just perfect for what we needed. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

Great house by el yunque!

This is a great house in Rio grande next to yunque and the Wyndham resort in Rio del mar. Our VRBO hosts were wonderful and helped guide us in recommendations for restaurants, locations to visits and let us borrow bewch accessories since we brought three kids.

Lovely place to stay in eastern PR

From the bedrooms, we felt like we were in the forest--the coquis sing you to sleep, and in the morning you can have coffee on the balcony while looking across at the sea. El Yunque, Luquillo beach, and good restaurants are minutes away, and other locations like Bioluminescent Bay are easy to get to. Mary and Jeff are friendly, helpful, and responsive hosts. We had a great time here.

My entire family loved this home. It had everything we could possibly need and even more...beach umbrella, chair, beach towels and even a snorkeling mask. Two bathrooms, great hosts who were super friendly and even showed us some of the fruit trees they were growing. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mary & Jeff's place. It had everything we needed and more. It could easily accommodate more than just the 2 of us. The view from the balcony is fantastic! I didn't realize how perfectly located it was until we were there; minutes from El Junque & Luquillo. Jeff was great. Laid back and friendly. He was always working on something around the property. He gave us really helpful suggestions for food & exploring (go early to beaches & El Yunque!). The little town of Palmer at the bottom of the hill was charming and had the best food we had during our time in PR. I'm really glad we found and chose to stay here.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Minutes to the beach. So many great restaurants were close. Easy to get to El Yunque. The apartment had everything we needed (full kitchen, all bathroom amenities, beach chairs, umbrella and toys). I wouldn't change anything.

Family April Vacation

Though we only stayed for two days and two nights for our week-long visit to Puerto Rico, this was the favorite part of our trip for my husband and I. The location was excellent for being close to restaurants, beautiful beaches in the Luqillo area, and a short ride to the rain forest. Mary was attentive and responsive to our questions about how to optimize our time in the area and the house was extremely well-stocked - including beach towels and chairs along with household items in the kitchen and bathrooms. And I can't say enough about how comfortable the bed was in the turtle room where my husband and I slept - I wanted to take the mattress home with us! We would gladly stay here again, if given the opportunity.

Great views and location!

This is a spacious and artistic rental on the upper floor where you can catch a glimpse of the ocean, the rainforest and the mountains. With large rooms and two bathrooms this was plenty of space for us. Beach accessories chairs and umbrella, and a cooler are included. Gated access for enhanced security and the property owner is very communicative and on-site. The location is close to any and everything: El Yunque, Los Kioskos de Luquillo, several beaches, and even 30 minutes to the ferry to Fajardo where we made a day trip. AC in the bedrooms, but the open floor plan and elevation leave the main area open to ocean breezes all day and night. The rental is very clean with nicer towels and nice touches throughout the unit. We would definitely stay here again.

The place is beautiful. I thought all was well with us and the owner until she charged us for smoking in the apartment? That never happened. But I guess it’s your word against theirs and they can just take your money?

Amazing Time Here In Puerto Rico

Kind and Friendly Hosts; good conversations, helpful with suggestions and stay needs! Great Location; close to beaches, El Yunque rainforest, restaurants, gas and shopping! Clean living space. Charging stations for phone cords and more by the beds. Condiments and water in the fridge. Coffee on the counter. Soap and bags to use. Basic culinary seasoning needs. Beautiful murales in the rooms and on the balcony. Towels to use. Sunscreen and more in a basket for use. Parking Great place to station for an adventurous time in Puerto Rico!! A lovely stay

Mary is an awesome host. From booking to check out, she was very helpful with suggestions for places to go and overall info on apartment. They literally provided everything you probably forgot at home. And the view!!! It really is next to the rainforest!! You can see the green lush and flowers and mango tree from the bedroom window. Loved the privacy of the gates entrance so we felt safe the entire time! My only suggestion would be a blackout curtain for the living room sliding door. The sun was quite bright and made it difficult to watch tv together during day between outings. Other than that, i would absolutely recommend and stay with them again!!

Hello. I am a Dance Instructor, Dog Trainer, and Rescuer who lives most of the time on the paradise island of Puerto Rico and part time in Washington State. Two of the most beautiful places on earth. I have rescued dogs and cats who live with me and my husband Jeff here on island (Tango our 16 year old, Bachata who is 15, Lindy who is 14, Gus-rescued here on island and has PTSD- 6 years old, and Bucky- also rescued on island- who is 4 years old. Our cats you wont see but they are from El Yunque. We love wine, gardening, renovating, dancing, travel, and meeting new people! We look forward to meeting you.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Sueño Caribeño is just that, a Caribbean Dream for us. We have wanted to live on an island somewhere warm for many years and finally made the dream happen. This property is ideally situated next to the rain forest El Yunque, but still close enough to all the other fun stuff, like the beaches, the town, good food, golfing and the casino. It is a quick drive to San Juan for nightlife, or for historical exploration and art. We love this property with its fruit trees, and palm trees, song of the coqui at night and the morning song of birds. We have area in the back to explore (but it is a jungle out there)! We love the space that we can have, but also the convenience of being close to things.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our house has a lot of original vintage charm (and quirks). The balcony looking over the golf course and out to Luquillo Beach, and watching the sunrise is such a gift. We have so many fruit trees, like Mango, and Acerola, Pana, Banana, Parcha and Avocado, and we love to share our bounty with our guests. We love how everyday we can have a view of the moods of the Atlantic ocean, or see the beauty of the Mountain. I am also a rescuer, so if you love dogs and cats you can easily get a chance to meet them or even help in our Sanctuary for Animals. You can even come help walk some of the rescues, or transport a small dog, cat or pup by being a flight angel to their forever home on your flight.
