Beautiful new home with views of the Columbia River from Kalama to Portland. The house is 1200 sq ft. The upstairs is designed as a studio with full kitchen and bath. There is a living room/dining area and a California king bed. The bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, bathroom with shower and walk out sliding glass door. Cot/ Pack n Play available. Ample parking if you have multiple cars or a boat/ RV.
Nearby hiking trails. 5 miles to the Lewis and Clark river - fishing - hunting and privacy. 28 miles to Portland. 12 miles to casino

Relaxation!

After jet skiing all day on swift reservoir, this was the perfect way to end the day. BBQ on the deck and watch the sun set while watching the river tugs and ships travel up and down the Columbia. Peaceful, quiet and awesome!

Lovely Place with a Nice View

Lenny is a great host, and it’s so nice that he lives just up the street in case you need anything, unlike booking with one of those management companies. We texted him some questions and he answered right away, and was flexible with our check in time. The house is clean and quiet, and even with some smoke from a wildfire (far away) the view was awesome. Great kitchen, comfy bed, powerful AC. Would recommend!

The view is unbeatable. However, we booked a three night's stay and had to spend a couple of hours to clear up before settling in. It is in the middle of nowhere, and it is quite a drive to reach (about 15 minutes) from major highways. Overall there should be plenty of other better options in more convenient locations.

Amazing Home. Amazing views

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. I haven’t seen such amazing attention to detail and amazing amenities from any other home we’ve rented. Not only did the owner supply all we could need but they went above and beyond providing refreshments, snacks, a full coffee bar, and even all of the toiletries you could need for your stay. I have never seen another house provide those things and it was such an amazing thing to do. Our trip was very quick for a show at the casino we arrived at 4pm and we’re gone most of the time and we had to leave before 10am as we were pressed for time for another engagement. We were all sad to leave that beautiful porch and views that we got to enjoy while drinking our (provided) coffee. The owner was very communicative and so friendly. I hope we get the opportunity to stay again, for longer this time!

Look at that View

Beautiful house, everything worked. Soft comfy beds. We watched the fireworks but didn’t hear them. Until one neighbor decided to shoot off some big ones. Too bad for my old lady dog who’s terrified of them. Nice deck to enjoy the beautiful view. Didn’t see the fire pit any where, but too hot to enjoy it anyway. Host provided dog treats, and beds. Also bowls of candy, and Nice bars for the humans. Very thoughtful. Could have used some dish cloths, wash cloths, and hand towels, just a few minor things that we brought up to make it a perfect stay. That said, I would come back again. Host seemed very nice.

Great space for small family getaway!!!

Stunning Sunset Views with Peace and Quiet

My husband and I used this as a couples get away but there was plenty of room for a family and pets. The host was very gracious and spot on if we needed anything . The house is situated on top of a mountainside with a perfect view of the river with stunning sunsets. There is one main winding road with little to no traffic with easy accessibility. Great high speed internet and tvs that accommodate all your apps. Once upstairs everything is easily located on the main living area, ie kitchen, laundry , living room , bathroom and master suite . With the second bedroom/bathroom suite downstairs . Wonderful set-up with ease of access. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone and everyone! Truly enjoyed!

Fantastic Birthday Getaway

Our family (wife, 10yo and 12yo dog) had an amazing weekend and would highly recommend this home for your next getaway. The host had prepared everything that we could need or want and went above and beyond in helping us out in a few instances. They were great hosts! If we have another weekend in this area, we'd love to stay at the same property. The topper was setting up the campfire for my wife and i to watch the sunset over the Columbia River on her birthday evening. Fantastic! Thank you for making our weekend one to remember!
