This well-maintained 4-bedroom, 3-bath home offers soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and large windows that showcase gorgeous water views from sunrise to sunset. Relax inside or unwind on the comfortable upper and lower decks — perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and everything in between.

Follow the gentle slope to your private dock, where you can swim, kayak, paddleboard, fish, float, or simply soak up the sun. Bring your boat or rent one nearby — with an average water depth of 13 feet at the dock, it's ideal for exploring the lake.
You'll be just minutes from Smith Mountain Lake State Park, marinas, gas docks, restaurants, and some of the lake's best outdoor recreation.

The house was a great layout with a large master room and deck right off it where we could relax indoors and out. Easy drive to some great hiking in Smith Mountain Lake State Park. The dock seemed to be brand new and was great to sit and read on and will be super fun during the summer.

House had beautiful lake views with multiple seating areas at both the house and boat dock to accomodate our group of six adults. Close to the marina and grocery store. Comfortable beds & furniture. Wooden timber steps to the lake are rotting and somewhat difficult to negotiate. Dock and boat house have just been renovated and lovely places to chill out.

The house was clean, in a great location and has an update back dock/deck that was perfect for our family to enjoy the lake. The paddle boards and kayak were great too - we used them frequently and loved it.

Beautiful lake front home

This house was perfect for my family stay! Just steps away from the dock. Awesome deck, perfect for entertaining! The updated dock was a huge bonus!

Good location - but maintanence needed

The house is in a great location and was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The house, yard and especially the dock need a lot of maintainence and repairs. The upper deck of the dock was closed due to needed maintenance which was not disclosed. We had a fire alarm go off which brought out several fire trucks an hour after we arrived. Apparently it was a glitch in the system that has happened before.

Wonderful place

We loved our week at the lake! This is a perfect place for a family to spend time together. It is a clean, comfortable place with a beautiful view. The house sits back just enough to be out of the boating lane. I would highly recommend!

What a view!

The Sundance has a fantastic view from the house and even more so from its dock. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The layout of the bedrooms and being dog friendly was great for our family. The area was lovely and convenient. A little flexibility on parking would be helpful.

Relaxation on the lake

Family of five spent an unforgettable week at SML. It started with great communication with the property manager. The house is in an ideal location with direct lake access. We were able to relax comfortably in the very well appointed house. Our favorite spot was the dock in the morning, amazing.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Sundance. Our favorite spot was the deck, with many levels for all to enjoy! I did feel the pictures of the home were a bit photoshopped, but not to the point that I wouldn't have picked this home. The home is nicely renovated and very comfortable. I just like to know exactly what I am renting. I would recommend this home to anyone!

Great house!

We really loved our stay! What a great location. Sitting out on the dock or the back deck was so peaceful and beautiful! The house has a great set up and plenty of space for everyone. Lots of great extras were provided and the property manager was quick to help and resolve an issue we had. We would definitely book this house again! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay!
