Our home was originally built in 1905 by the somewhat notorious cigar manufacturer Leon S. Boucher. The Flor De Leon was a popular brand of cigars that L.S. Boucher manufactured and sold here in downtown Joplin.
My wife and I have lovingly renovated our home over the past year by combining its original historic charm with our own modern/eclectic style. We are particularly proud of the kitchen, bathrooms, and sunroom!

Guest Access:
The first floor consists of a kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room, and sunroom. A laundry room is also available for use in the basement
The second floor is the main sleeping area which consists of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms on this floor have desk space.
The third floor is the master suite. A great place to unwind after a long day of traveling! We especially love the skylight above the bathtub!
House Rules:
Please read and be aware of these House Rules before arrival. Failure to follow these House Rules will immediately result in the following charges:
-đFEES: Please make sure you enter the correct number of guests for your stay. Unapproved guests visiting the house without proper communication will be added to your guest list and result in an additional $20/day/person for your reservation.
-đFEES: NO HOUSE PARTIES, EVENTS OR GATHERINGS, any sign of these will be result in immediate eviction without refund and a $200 charge.
-đFEES: Unapproved LATE CHECK-OUT will result in an additional $25 every 15 minutes after check-out time.
-đ FEES: NO PETS, any guest found to have had a pet indoors will be immediately evicted without refund and charged an additional $200/day + any additional cost for extra cleaning
-đFEES: Lost TV remote control will result in a $50 charge.
-đFEES: Smoking of any kind inside will result in an immediate eviction without refund and an automatic $250 charge + any cost to deodorize the house.
-đFEES: Tampering with or breaking any of the electronics, furniture, or appliances (including; but not limited to, moving furniture from their assigned rooms) will result in an immediate $250 charge.
-đQuiet Hours: 10pm-9am (the house is equipped with noise monitoring devices) Violation of quiet hours will result in immediate eviction without refund as well as a $250 charge
-We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind.
