This property was perfect for our stay! We enjoyed the room this property has to offer. Travis was very informative and clear with his expected delineations. We come up every year for summer vacation to the surrounding lakes and rivers, and this property tops all that we have stayed at so far. This place was clean and accommodating, has great views, great fishing, and our overall experience was well above 5 stars!

Great getaway

The house and location was immaculate! We loved listening to the river flowing and the trees changing colors was the perfect time to get away. We golfed two days at two different locations and we climbed the Mountain Fire Tower (well most of us did). Schoolhouse Bar enjoyed our company during the Packer and Brewer games, and the food was excellent! Maybe could use a larger mixing bowl as we made breakfast every morning. We loved it so much we plan to make this an annual anniversary trip with our friends!

Place was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. We had a problem checking in due to no cell (AT&T) but was able to find a bar with WiFi and called The manager and he was great at helping us get in. Answer a few questions very timely and was really helpf

Perfect retreat able to bring our dogs who loved the screened in porch, great contact with host and everyone in the area is super friendly. Would recommend if looking for a modern and clean place to stay.

Beautiful setting

The cabin was extremely clean with ample space for everyone. The location on the river was fantastic and the area featured many opportunities to hike along with other outdoor activities. Already thinking about when we might want to go back!

Beauty in Mountain

Husband and I stayed at this beautiful well appointed home in Mountain. We have rented through VRBO at least once a year for over25 years. This home is outstanding, it is everything the listing stated and more. Would highly recommend this home!

Heavenly Stay

I felt like I was dreaming when I woke up with the amazing surroundings this property sits in. The river is stunning and the house is modern but with charm and character. The property is very clean and well kept. I absolutely loved this property and I do a lot of rentals across the USA and Australia. This was definitely a memorable favourite and we will be back

River Retreat

Amazing property overall. Immaculate with very comfortable and pleasing furnishings. The screened in porch was a great place to spend a lot of our time, relaxing and listening to the river flow by. One of the best vacations we have had and couldn't ask for better accommodations.

This property is gorgeous. The river in back of the house is amazing. Not only for the scenery, but also so relaxing to listen to! Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and so RELAXING!

The property is amazing! Well stocked and just beautiful! This may have been one of my most relaxing vacations!! Between the peace and quiet, the river rushing by and the amazing amount of stars in the sky at night from the backyard we couldn't imagine a better place to spend our 21st wedding anniversary! We absolutely loved it, and would definitely recommend!

Vacation 2024

This was one of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed at. Home is beautiful comfortable and relaxing. The screen porch is perfect to sit and relax while listening to the river run. Labor Day get away

Overall we had a great vacation, there were just a few minor hiccups with our stay but nothing that hindered our vacation. Communication with the owner was seamless from the time we booked our stay to the time we checked out. The property is beautiful and nothing beats the sound of the river flowing. Would definitely stay here again if we plan another trip to mountain!

everything was great. Travis was excellent and promptly with communication. Very accommodating. We stay during the winter and everything was perfect. Check in and instruction very clear. Place was beautiful and very comfortable. I can only image how even more wonderful this place would be in the summer when you would have full access to the rive. Thank you for helping my family make good memories and put faith in me in finding a beautiful place for us to get away together.

Lovely River Retreat

We had a great time in this beautiful setting! The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the screen porch! The basement was perfect for game night and a movie night when it rained. We made good use of the kayaks at nearby Chute Pond.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property in Mountain, Wisconsin! Our first rental experience did not work out as planned, but this place completely exceeded our expectations and was the perfect fit for our family.The pictures truly do not do this property justice. The home was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The secluded location made it feel like a true getaway, while still providing plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors.Our little one had an absolute blast catching crayfish in the river, which became one of the highlights of our trip. The campfires were incredible, and spending evenings outside together was exactly what we were hoping for. The property had such a peaceful, homey feel that made it easy to unwind and enjoy family time.We are so grateful for this stay and the memories we were able to make here. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and family-friendly getaway in northern Wisconsin!

Quite solitude

Our late fall visit was a great base for exploring the hiking, waterfalls, and food in the area. Home was well furnished with everything to make breakfast before starting our day and relax in the evening. Covered porch was great in the afternoon with a blanket and a book to listen to the rippling river. This home would be enjoyable in all seasons.

Great place!

We had a great time at Riverside Retreat! It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The river was just lovely and a treat to listen to sitting by the firepit or screened-in porch. Cell phone reception was a bit hit or miss but wifi was available. The property management company was responsive answering our questions and provided good information in the online welcome packet.
