The property was welcoming for pets. But it was not cozy or welcoming for people. It was very dark and very musty smelling inside. The upstairs bedroom was full of bugs and flies that kept buzzing around. The whole cabin had carpet everywhere that was very dirty. My white socks looked like I walked in dirt.

Host was very accommodating. Responded to questions promptly. UTV trails were easily accessible. Property was private, quiet, relaxing, and, clean. Close to everything, stores, gas stations. We will be back to stay.

Nice private location with a very vintage feel to it. It was a trip back in time. Butler rock was a nice little hike with amazing views.

Quite Cozy but plenty of room and lots of windows to see into the woods. Loved the property and saw a doe and her fawn first morning - just 20 yards from the house. Also had one jump the driveway in front of us yesterday. Loved the quietness and seclusion - quite relaxing. We grilled steaks on the grill, kayaked 2 lakes, caught some fish and hiked to a waterfall. Had a great time. Thanks for everything. Tony B.

Location is great, near the shops and restaurants and yet secluded in the woods on a larger lot. We enjoyed staying here very much . The owner is very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place

Everything about the place is great. We’ve stayed here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. The location is nice and peaceful and close to everything you would need. Just a great place for a northwoods getaway!

Peaceful get away

The property was actually kinda hard to find being its tucked away in the woods. But all and all had an awesome stay, a/c worked great. Tv in the living room and dishes if you wanted to eat there. Grill was all ready to go along with a note from the owner to come by beef for grilling at their farm.

Perfect Northwoods Hangout

The perfect size for our whole family of all ages. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, extra blankets, cookware and very comfortable beds. This was the perfect hangout during our Brush run weekend.

Amazing Time

The property is everything we were hoping for and more. Clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped. Completely private and surrounded by nature but close to anything we could need in town. Mitzer is a wonderful, kind and gracious host. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. The experience couldn’t have been any better.

Lakewood Getaway

We were just looking for a small place to relax for the weekend and this house was perfect! My parents and other friends were staying in the area also so we really only slept there and made one breakfast, but the home had what we needed, it was quiet, the air conditioning worked (it was pretty warm that weekend) and we would definitely stay again. Check in process was easy and not a long list of items to do upon checkout. Thanks again!

Peaceful & beautiful spot....

We enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the location being very convenient to town, yet so quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful spot & though it might seem like a strange observation....the water is so good!...no need to bring or buy any!! ( : Bug spray was also very appreciated when we were enjoying some time at the firepit!

Little getaway

My husband I and our dog had a wonderful weekend. It was very clean and had everything we needed. They even thought to have coloring books, crayons, crossword puzzles and other items for crafts. It was secluded because it's tucked away (which is exactly what we wanted) but close to the town in case you need anything. We'll be back again!

Quiet Oasis

We came for a sporting event in the area and wanted a nice quiet place to rest our heads. We found it! Close enough to everything you need, but tucked away that you feel like you are on your own "island." The place had plenty of space for the 2 of us (even more people would have plenty of room). We got a great recommendation for dinner for my husband's birthday. Checking in and seeing a Happy Birthday Balloon with local syrup was just the absolute added touch!!! Very sweet. We would stay again!
