The house is in beautiful Mattituck between Jamesport and Southold in the North Fork area of Long Island, New York. It is just under 2 hours from JFK or LaGuardia. Easily accessible by the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station, New York. The Train stop is a 5-minute drive from the house. From here there is a ferry service to Connecticut, Shelter Island and Sag Harbor.

A family home that’s suitable for kids of all ages, with plenty of toys and games to enjoy, as well as the heated swimming pool outdoors with lots of space to run around. Hosts can provide a stroller, car seat, travel crib, highchair and pack & play on request. When they need to run off some steam, Break Water beach has a wonderful playground while older kids can shoot some hoops on the on property basketball hoop.

This area has lots of organic farm stands and foodie places to eat, while North Fork wineries are just minutes away. Break water beach with the views of the Sound is a 10-minute walk away and the historic town of Greenport is 18 minutes’ drive away.

You kids’ eyes will light up at the sight of baby goats, bison, and alpacas at the many North Fork roadside farmstands – several of which allow children to pet and feed the animals. Here is a list of our favorites: -

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

This 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is set over two levels. The main level includes a spacious great room, kitchen, dining room, a master suite with a spa like bathroom, two guest bedrooms, a guest bathroom, and a powder room. The second level includes a master suite which has a bathroom with a large soaking tub and rain shower, two remaining guest bedrooms and a guest bathroom.

The house has central air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi throughout the house, and a secure home sound system. It also has a commercial water filtration system which removes harmful bacteria from drinking water, bathing water and water used for cooking eliminating the need to plastic bottled water which is better for the environment.

The cozy family room is located on the second level which includes 65” flat screen TV for fun movie nights.

Outdoor space includes a large outdoor Ipe deck, perfect for barbecues and entertaining, weber grill, overlooking a 20 x40 m heated salt water in-ground pool (great for sensitive skin), outdoor shower, fire pit and wooden furniture just steps from the pool and yard.
