When we got there the code didn’t open the gate to get into parking ramp but we called and they texted us a new one. The ice-maker doesn’t work on the fridge, I called and they said we could purchase ice at the front desk for 5.50…..There was a bottle of wine and chocolate for us The condo itself was very nice, and clean! Plenty of pillows and blankets. There was a low rider beach chair in the hall closet. The fishing sucked! Not even a bite.. We would definitely rent this again if coming to VA beach.

Walking distance to everything. The view was perfect. Huge condo! Clean and welcoming. We had a wonderful getaway.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and location of this property. Everything was there and easy to find. Only wish there might have been at least one walk in shower for us older folks. A high sided tub is a bit dangerous to get in and out of. But all in all, it was a great condo. I will easily book again when in need,

Enjoyed our vacation

My husband and I took our grandchildren for a three days stay. The view from the apartment is great and we did see dolphins. We also love the location very much. So many great restaurants are in walking distance. The people in rental office/security are wonderful and helpful. However we found dishes in dishwasher were unwashed. The toaster is half-broken and not clean. But I will definitely want to come back again, because I really enjoyed the stay. Hopefully the cleaning team will be paying more attention to the kitchen area.

Perfect location

This is a great location on the boardwalk. The balcony was being worked on so not available. (we knew this in advance) However, the noise was so intrusive, we couldn't even have lunch inside and it started pretty early in the morning. The condo is old, but was clean. This was the 1st time I've had to order linens for the beds, bathrooms and kitchen and this worked out fine with the company recommended by the condo. Alll in all, we had a great time.

My stay was not all that, there were no towels or sheets on the bed. I had to go out and purchase them. I kept texting the owner never responded back. there was also no iron in the room and it took front desk a long time to contact the owner to bring me one

Not Clean poor maintenance

The floors were filthy. We mopped the floors twice to get them reasonable clean. Several light bulbs were blown. We replaced as many bulbs as possible but there were not enough to replace all the blown bulbs. The air conditioner in one of the bedrooms did not work to cool the room. One of the toilet seats was extremely loose and had to be tightened by the maintenance person.I would not rent this unit again. And I don't believe I would rent any unit managed by the staff at the unit. The cleaners and maintenance are doing a poor job.

Never stay again! Overpriced & Dirty!!

I’ve never had such a poor experience using VRBO! This condo was over priced and underwhelming. Pictures are not accurate, furniture worn and not clean. The entire condo was dirty and not clean, floors dirty, rugs dirty, sink had black mold around the edges, coffee not gross with old coffee left in the pot, old moldy grinds left in the basket and when opened flies flew out!! Trash can dirty, showers and shower curtain molding, used drink bottles in nightstand drawers, light bulbs blown out. I asked the property manager to have the condo cleaned and that didn’t happen. I ended up cleaning myself. I also asked for some kind of compensation due to the awful experience and never heard back. Property manager said she would contact owner but never heard back. Property manager also shared the owner paid for repairs but were never done! I will never stay at this condo nor the Dolphin Run property! Save your money and stress!

This was one of the most disappointing vacation rentals we’ve experienced and did not match what was advertised. The unit was not clean. We found a stained comforter, foul-smelling blankets, sand in the freezer and ice maker, and a kitchen sink full of stagnant water that made the condo smell. Bathroom rugs were visibly dirty, and overall cleanliness was unacceptable.Several appliances and features didn’t work properly. The ice maker was broken, the dishwasher was inconsistent, and the WiFi disconnected every 20–30 minutes. The refrigerator wasn’t set to a usable temperature on arrival, and the door lock battery was failing, requiring multiple attempts to enter.Most importantly, the property was misrepresented. We booked specifically for oceanfront access, but beach and boardwalk entry were completely blocked due to construction/event setup. Management was aware but did not notify us in advance. As a result, we had no beach access, an obstructed view, and constant noise. We were traveling with a handicapped individual who could not access the beach at all.We also notified the owners/property managers of these issues during our stay and after and have still not received any response or compensation.We paid for an oceanfront, easy and close beach access experience and did not receive it. This stay was not worth the cost, and future guests should be aware that the listing may not reflect reality.

Absolutely wonderful! Building was clean, the apartment was clean and as advertised. Beautiful view of the ocean, spacious and nice big bedrooms with lots of closet space. 3 full bathrooms is great for larger families. Located on the end of the boardwalk so on the quieter end. Nice sitting area in the lobby of the building with a view of the ocean. I would stay here again. The ONLY issue was that the WiFi cuts out a lot, especially when watching TV on your apps. Other than that it was a perfect stay and I highly recommend it!
