You deserve the best so stay and relax with the whole family in this peaceful spacious cabin. "Deer Meadow" @ Shaver Lake is our Family cabin. It's located in the Granite Ridge neighborhood and is named for the frequent visits local deer make to the meadow off the back deck. This Cabin is perfect to enjoy cool summers, brisk fall days, and snow play winters. Come BBQ on the large deck and enjoy a nice cozy fire with your family and friends!
Deer Meadow, has everything you want in a mountain home getaway! You'll be greeted to a spacious open floor plan with soaring wood ceilings, a rustic yet elegant stone fireplace, a formal dining room, a cute breakfast nook, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths. The fourth bedroom also serves as a bonus/playroom. It has a pool table and queen bed; we've also added a couple of sofa sleepers that turn into twin beds. The master bedroom has beautiful forest views and a jetted tub to relax in. Lots to do here, you can play pool, enjoy the spacious property, take a short 3.1-mile hike along the nearby Granite Ridge Loop trail, BBQ on the large deck, play corn hole on the meadow or just hang out with friends and enjoy company! The list of activities is long. We would love you stay here and experience all of what our Cabin and Shaver Lake has to offer!

This cabin is located approximately three miles from Shaver Lake (four to the Shaver Lake Marina). Nestled in the much-desired Granite Ridge Community with nearby trails and beautiful homes. Your family and friends will enjoy this perfect getaway, you'll forget the everyday hustle! The cabin has a security camera at driveway and at the doorbell. It'sabout two miles fromthe town of Shaver Lake and the three miles from thelake itself. This is the place for you if like skiing, boating, fishing, hiking, followed by a jetted tub, a warm fireplace and a well-appointed kitchen.

What else is provided:
Bedding - We'll provide clean linens.
Towels - We'll provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths
Toiletries - We'll provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash,and hand towels andsoap for each bathroom.
This cabin is meant for families, it's intended for good people like you to enjoy, it's not for parties, or loud music (quite hours are from 10PM to 8AM). We want families and friends to stay @ Deer Meadow that are looking for a nice, safe, clean, and serene place to thoroughly enjoy and make wonderful memories. We're the homeowners were not a huge vacation enterprise, we respect our neighbors, and simply ask that our guest do too.

Beautiful mountain escape!

This mountain home/cabin was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the area and privacy of the home and neighborhood. The host communicated everything and the entire checkin was super easy. Beautiful inside and out, I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the shaver area.

Perfect location with a wonderful 2.5 mile run/walking loop accessible from the back yard. Kitchen was well stocked. Enough seating inside and outside for our party of 10. Owner very responsive. Overall a great stay!

Our Stay At Deer Meadow

Bert and his wife are excellent hosts! They were very communicative and was always available to any questions that we had during our stay. The home was clean, well stocked, and accommodated our group perfectly. Bert and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Bert even contacted me and said they found some stuff and offered to meet up to return them to us.

Wonderful Time at Deer Meadow Cabin

My family had a fun and relaxing time at Deer Meadow Cabin! The owner was responsive and informative. The cabin had all the amenities and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck every evening! Close to Shaver Lake and McKinley Grove (sequoia tree grove).

Perfect home for family reunion!

Our extended family has been coming to Shaver Lake for 20 years, staying at different cabins in the area, and this one was our favorite so far! It's centrally located, beautifully appointed, and cozy and spacious all at once. Our favorite things? Our family loves to cook together and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The firepit, table and seating on the deck was wonderful - we ate almost every meal outside together. Wonderful TV and cable connection, lots of places to relax and read or hang out and play games or do puzzles together, and the cherry on top was the many cozy blankets for late nights and early mornings outside... We are absolutely looking forward to coming back again next year!!

Granite Ridge Group Cabin

We had a party of 8 people staying for a week. The property is very well maintained and modernized. Every comfort available to you at home will be here. Plenty of room, large deck and kitchen. And the garage was open for our use. The owner reached out to us in the middle of our stay to make sure everything was going well. We stayed here in the Summer and can see how this would be a great cabin in the Winter as well. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and look forward to making plans in the future to come back.

SNOW FUN FOR THE KIDS

The combo lock on the door was not cooperating with me at check in (and I am a real estate broker that is accustomed to combo locks) so it was frustrating and caused real concern that the owner did not call me back but finally unlocked the door remotely. Once we did get in, the home was nice, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, dishes, cookie sheets, wine glasses, etc. The back deck was large enough to enjoy, had a nice table and chairs, outdoor couch, gas fire feature and wonderful gas BBQ. The back yard was a snow retreat for the grandkids and so much fun that I would recommend this house for that reason alone!

Awesome place for a family vacation. We will be using as our yearly rental.

This home has everything you may need, really helps next time for packing unnecessary items. The home is really clean, there are tons of spare blankets and for once we found a rental with good cable on the tv. We were able to create our own snow slides with the shovels provided.

Perfect in every way

We scheduled this for a mastermind retreat with a small group of publishing experts from across the US. When I scheduled, I was concerned about the wifi quality because I knew we would also be on our laptops at the same time. When I enquired about this with Vacasa properties, I was given a canned response and was told that wifi was a convenience and not a necessity and that they would not be held responsible for the bandwidth or even the presence of Wifi. For a trip like this, wifi was critical to our plans! When I inquired with Bert, he gave me a very specific responses and even knew what brands of hot spots would work at his cabin. And then he went an upgraded to the fastest internet package available in the area! I wanted to test it, so he and his wife met me at the cabin! Incredible. While I was there, Bert's wife gave me a tour. When she showed me the TV, she said they had thought about getting a bigger one. I mentioned that a larger one would be great when we do web demos during our retreat. So Bert put in a new, huge one the day before our retreat! Incredible. The cabin is wonderful, decorated in a fun, mountain style. The layout is perfect with four big bedrooms. The deck is spacious and gets some nice mix of sun and shade in the afternoon. And the cabin is equipped with everything. We will stay here again for sure. But next time I want to bring my family!

My wife and I have two kids we both graduated from Fresno State and enjoy spending time with friends and family. We're not a professional vacation rental enterprise. This property in the desired area of Granite Ridge, it's close to Shaver Lake and near a nice walking trail. We try to list the property at very reasonable rates so you and your family and friends can enjoy it as well. The cabin has more than adequate parking and is tucked in just enough to feel surrounded by nature. There is plenty of space inside and outside this home with activities to keep you and kids busy while still being secluded enough to just settle in and unwind in quite calm setting.
