Lake Murray Cottage on the Cove

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage on Lake Murray. Enjoy the beautiful views from a kayak, have a toasty fire, and enjoy the best that life has to offer. Head out on your boat from the private dock, and enjoy all of the recreation and beauty that Lake Murray has to offer. Only a 7 minute drive from the quaint town of Chapin, SC, where you will find plenty of dining and shopping. Only a 5 minute drive to enjoy the outdoors at Dreher Island State Park!

The Space
The cottage is approximately 1100 sq feet. Plenty of room for a family to comfortably stay. The living area is a good size with high ceilings and natural light, and the two bedrooms are of a good size as well. One bedroom closet is locked for the owners, and a dresser has been provided for guests in that room. The closet in the other bedroom are for guest use.

No cable TV, but the internet is high speed and the ROKU TV in the living room can stream your favorite apps. No tv's are located in bedrooms. The yard is large, and the lake is endless. Go outside and enjoy!

Guest access
The GPS will take you right to our driveway where you will find parking for up to 3 vehicles. There is a spot to place your boat trailer as well.

Other things to note
The closest public boat landing is only 5 minutes away at Dreher Island State Park. There is a gas station/convenience store with basic supplies, non-ethanol gas, propane fill station, and firewood (The Station II), only 3 minutes away.

Chapin has all of the supplies you need to stock up for your trip- Several grocery stores (Publix, Lowes, Food Lion), ACE Hardware, Pharmacies. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Note: The lake level is drawn down every winter so from early December to late February, the dock may not be accessible by boat.
