Just have your friend mention your name when they book! Dreher Dreams log cabin , is a newer constructed log cabin with both lake and equestrian decor. It is located right next to Dreher Island State Park so you can enjoy the additional benefit of walking nature trails with wonderful panoramic water views.
Enjoy amazing views from the comfort of our cabin and a wonderful variety of wildlife including bald eagles, herons, egrets, songbirds, deer, ducks and geese. Fishing is great right off the dock! (See pics) and a boat ramp is inside the Park just minutes away with a 5 minute boat ride back to the dock. 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards are available for your pleasure. Cabin is easily accessible for a senior citizen with limited mobility through the back porch off the driveway. ( see pic #7 right rear of house by screened porch).With wide water views and both sunrise and sunset views, my wife Teresa and I (rather than property managers unfamiliar with a property) want to ensure your vacation makes everlasting memories!

5 Stars – Perfect Lake Getaway!We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin on Lake Murray! The property was absolutely gorgeous — clean, well-kept, and surrounded by nature. Being right next to the state park was such a bonus for hiking and exploring, and we loved being able to fish right from the dock. The provided kayaks were a fantastic touch and made our days on the water even better. The owner was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge — we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect!

Everything was on spot! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! My sister caught a giant fish, which made her week! The house was immaculate and fully stocked, and the view was amazing.

Unmatched Peace

We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible location, and while the pictures are beautiful, they simply don't do it justice. Our family had an amazing time. Teresa and Ron, our hosts, went above and beyond by checking in with us before our arrival, which was especially thoughtful during the Christmas holidays. Teresa also recommended some great nearby dining spots and stores, should you choose to step out of this stunning retreat. The amenities were perfect—everything we needed was provided, so there was no need for any extra shopping. The views are breathtaking, and our grandsons keep asking if we've booked the cabin again. Don’t hesitate to book your stay; we can’t wait to return!

Great house in a great location

Really enjoyed the stay here. Great house with everything you need. Awesome, well landscaped shaded yard to enjoy. Really liked the outdoor space. Multiple kayaks and paddle boards available for all to enjoy out in the cove and a good swim spot in front of the house. Hosts were super responsive to a all questions and very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

Lake Luxury

Amazing stay, even during Tropical Storm Debby. This place has everything you need and then some! Fishing, kayaks, paddle boarding. Close to jet ski and boat rentals. What a view from the living room. Communication was top notch. We will be back!

Great Log Cabin on the Lake!

This cabin was perfect and had plenty of space for our group of 7 (6 adults and 1 teenager). Everyone liked the decor and feel of the log cabin, but especially enjoyed the amazing views of the lake! The cabin had everything we needed plus some fun extras like paddle boards, kayaks, and even a floating lily pad. The location was nice and quiet with minimal boat traffic on the lake, making it great for fishing and paddle boarding. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Always enjoy Lake Murray

The property is centrally located within an easy boat ride to a lot of places to eat. The kitchen at the house was loaded with everything you needed. The house is versatile enough that you could have morning coffee on the screened porch or out by the lake. The property owners will cut back flips for you with any issues or communication. Great stay and will book again

Lakefront Retreat

We have been coming here the past three years and it our favorite stay of the year. Cabin is tastefully decorated inside and perfect for our group. Plenty to do outside with the paddle boards supplied with the cabin. The Denti’s are wonderful hosts and make sure your stay is memorable. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and looking for a relaxing trip.

Great location, Quiet and Clean!

We had a great family stay here at the cabin. Everything was as advertised, Ron and Teresa communicated before and after the stay. We rented a boat and were able to keep at the dock. The location is great being back in a cove with very little boat and road traffic. Will definitely stay again when coming back to this area.

Most peaceful and comfortable!

Absolutely loved staying here, so tranquil and peaceful!! We had nightly fires and so much fun on the lake. The home has a small quaint cozy atmosphere and everything you could possibly need was provided. Can’t wait to for year to rent it again.

Everything We Needed!

We were in the area for a college fishing tournament and this was perfect for our stay. It was clean, cozy and nicely furnished. Comfortable sleeping areas for everyone, convenient access to the boat launch, fully equipped kitchen and grill, and outdoor seating areas made us wishing we had more time to enjoy it all. The dock was an added plus and saved our anglers from having to trailer their boat to and from the launch. The view is beautiful - even in the rain! Hosts responded quickly to our questions during our stay. I highly recommend and will definitely book again if we are back in the area!

Thanksgiving on the Lake

We planned this trip back in 2020 when our daughter started at UofSC. We wanted to stay on Lake Murray and go to the Clemson game..this was probably the best location to do Thanksgiving and attend the Rivalry game! We fished, ate, made some “campfires” and kayaked, SUP’d. It was wonderful

So beautiful!!!

These pictures don't even do it justice! It was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful right when we got there. The kids loved fishing off the dock and throwing rocks in the water from the beachy area. The inside was very clean and beds were cozy. We enjoyed the playground and hiking at the state park 2 minutes away. We'd stay here again!

We enjoyed living in our dream lake log cabin until October 2021 when we returned back to NJ to provide oversight and care to Teresa's parents until they passed in 2025. We have since relocated back to SC and will enjoy helping make your vacation memorable!
