Dreher Dreams log cabin , is a newer constructed log cabin with both lake and equestrian decor. It is located right next to Dreher Island State Park so you can enjoy the additional benefit of walking nature trails with wonderful panoramic water views.
Enjoy amazing views from the comfort of our cabin and a wonderful variety of wildlife including bald eagles, herons, egrets, songbirds, deer, ducks and geese. Fishing is great right off the dock! (See pics) and a boat ramp is inside the Park just minutes away with a 5 minute boat ride back to the dock. 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards are available for your pleasure. Cabin is wheelchair accessible for a senior citizen through the back porch off the driveway. ( see pic #7 right rear of house by screened porch). Shower transfer bench and bedside commode available if needed with tub grab bars. Electric at dock and exterior to charge boats . With wide water views and both sunrise and sunset views, my wife Teresa and I (rather than property managers unfamiliar with a property) want to ensure your vacation makes everlasting memories!

This property was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and very well stocked with anything you would need and then some. We were a party of 6 adults for a fishing tournament and had 3 trucks and 3 boats and parking was easily accommodated. Our host were always quick to respond with any inquiries we had and full of information about the area and where things were located. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this location !!!!!

Parking area was convenient and plenty of room for even more than our 3 vehicles. The cabin was immaculate and we were tremendously impressed with ALL the special decorative touches throughout the cabin!!! The sleeping arrangements fit our extended 3 generation family perfectly and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was throughly equipped with both cooking and eating utensils as well as basic supplies. We asked ahead of time whether there was a pancake griddle and a brand new one was on the counter upon arrival. Grandkids enjoyed the dock for fishing and the availability of 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards were a very popular feature. Adults enjoyed the well kept patio/ fire circle for relaxing and the picnic table /grill area was perfect for an outdoor supper. Our only suggestion might be some stronger lighting for older eyes in the evening.This is a 10 out of 10! Highest recommendation!!!!!

5 Stars – Perfect Lake Getaway!We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin on Lake Murray! The property was absolutely gorgeous — clean, well-kept, and surrounded by nature. Being right next to the state park was such a bonus for hiking and exploring, and we loved being able to fish right from the dock. The provided kayaks were a fantastic touch and made our days on the water even better. The owner was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge — we’ll definitely be back!

Great location, Quiet and Clean!

We had a great family stay here at the cabin. Everything was as advertised, Ron and Teresa communicated before and after the stay. We rented a boat and were able to keep at the dock. The location is great being back in a cove with very little boat and road traffic. Will definitely stay again when coming back to this area.

We enjoyed living in our dream lake log cabin until October 2021 when we returned back to NJ to provide oversight and care to Teresa's parents until they passed in 2025. We have since relocated back to SC and will enjoy helping make your vacation memorable!
