Enjoy our mid century inspired home, beautifully decorated and equipped for a relaxing mountain view retreat. Great for families, couples or groups! This centrally-located home is set on a hillside lot in a quaint neighborhood just 5 min drive from downtown Flagstaff. It’s best feature is an amazing deck with view of mount Elden. Perfect base for Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Snowbowl and Williams travel!

Good location. The home is spacious and homey (comfortable). We had wonderful 4 night stay. There is an unattached 2nd home behind the house. Next time we will be looking to rent both.

Hillside House was great. EXCELLENT location, clean and inviting. A great deck off of the living room/kitchen area offered a wonderful star gazing opportunity. Although we didn't spend a great deal of time there due to the nearby attractions (Grand Canyon, Sedona, Moenave Navajo Dinosaur Tracks) we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The hosts were responsive but unintrusive. Highly recommended for groups of up to 6.

The hosts were great as I had to deal with some work changes. The house and beds and bedding are one of the better options in Flagstaff for sure!

We travel often and decided on VRBO on this trip. One night in Flagstaff. Cute house, clean and an extremely comfortable bed. I actually want to reach out to find out where they bought the comforter as it was sift and pretty.

Break from the Heat

Lovely home with gorgeous views from back deck. Ice cubes!!! Yay!! Really appreciated. Home was comfy, wonderful large screen TV. Cozy deck chairs. Easy to find. Great location. Would have appreciated just one set of rules. It got a bit confusing.

Flagstaff

House was 79 when we got there. Never changed. The bed room's had a stand alone ac. If you left it running theresno way to sleep. We were a family on 10.Thete was 1 bath towel for the upstairs 8 guest were up there. Went to cook dinner no forks pans to speek of not enough for 10 people. When i started breakfast there was no spatula to flip the eggs with. The parking is in front of the house on the gravel and there are strict rules that if you don't park there they're going to have you towed. Overall it would be hard for me to recommend this to a family of 10

Great Stay

We only stayed one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. Group of 6 adults. Had nice rooms and all amenities needed.

Softball Tournament Stay

We stayed here for the long weekend to attend a softball tournament and it was so perfect! There is tons of space for sleeping, hanging out, and perfect kitchen for cooking! Everything was clean and perfect! Definitely will stay here again :)

The house was SO clean and beautiful, lots of space for everyone to sleep, plenty of things to keep the kids busy, and super close to everything! My favorite things were opening the windows to let the cool air in, having coffee on the patio, how QUIET the neighborhood is, and the beautiful view from the house. Would love to come back!!

Nice and comfortable.

This place was cute and clean, a great place to stay with family. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. There are only 2 things I would change. The air conditioner didn’t seem to be working right, it was set on 70 but actual temperature was 75 inside. Also, there was no curtain on the back door windows, which is a little bit of a privacy issue. Overall a good place to stay, we would stay here again!

We are the Neal family, avid travelers and adventurers who love to stay in and enjoy airbnbs around the world. We are brothers (and sister in laws) who built and raised our kids on this property in neighboring houses and when it got time to size up... we decided we would facilitate other family's adventures by making our homes into the rentals we had always dreamed of. We did all the renovations ourselves, (the first home in 2018, the second in 2022) and since we have a love for great design, we poured ourselves into making these homes extra special for guests!

We spent our whole lives in the area, also owning nearby businesses in Flagstaff and Grand Canyon. This gives us great local flair for giving insight into the best ways to see the area. We hope people will enjoy the fantastic location and the gorgeous views from a decks that brought us thousands of hours of enjoyment! We have tried to equip it with everyone one can think of for your stay especially those traveling with families.
