Looking for the perfect home while visiting the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana campus or downtown? My 4 bedroom home with a huge wrap around deck is perfect for your stay. Centrally located in Champaign’s historic Clark Park neighborhood, reach all you need in the area within mere minutes while being surrounded by charm galore.

I am your host, Ian, and have been hosting guests in my home since 2016, so you are in good hands during your stay!

The space:

Relax and refresh in this stylish four bedroom house. My home has hardwood flooring throughout, a large wrap around porch, game room, and cozy feel that will make you feel at home during your stay.

+ Fully stocked kitchen and formal dining room for 6, there are ample dishes and cooking utensils for those staying for an extended period of time. The kitchen appliances include: gas stove, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer.

+ Large deck that wraps around the entire home for porch sitting complete with adirondack chairs, outdoor dining for 6, and a BBQ grill to enjoy the neighborhood (seasonally available)

+ Off street driveway parking for up to 2 cars and ample street parking space for additional cars.

+ Sit back and relax! You will find the living room has comfortable couches and a smart TV with streaming options and Firestick included. For those looking to unplug there are also hundred books for you to enjoy during your stay.

+ A game room in the basement with a foosball table, jumbo connect 4, board games and more!

+ 4 Bedrooms made up of a (1) Queen Bed - ground floor (2) Queen Bed - second floor (3) 2x Full Beds - second floor (4) 2x Twin beds - basement; all focused on maximizing your comfort while traveling.

+ Laundry: a washer and dryer are available in the basement and open for guest use the entirety of the stay.

+ Pet friendly house.

This house is in the heart of Champaign, close to U of I campus, downtown Champaign, Illini Memorial Stadium, Carle Hospital, State Farm Center, Research Park, Urbana, Campustown, grocery shopping and much more.

Quiet & Spacious

Great place to stay with kids and grandparents.

We had everything we needed for a weekend stay to meet up with family. Games and bunks for the kids downstairs and a ground floor room for grandma and grandpa. Thank you, Ian!

Illinois Half-marathon

Great location for attending the Illinois Marathon. The property had plenty of space, clean, safe neighborhood, nice wrap around deck and stylish decor. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided easy instructions for check in and check out. My family and friends really enjoyed our stay!

Half Marathon Weekend

My fiend and I ran I. The Christie Clinic Half marathon this weekend, and need a place for our families to stay. This was in a nice location not too far from the start line. It was a nice place to stay for the weekend.

Overall it was a wonderful stay and accommodating to all the guests. House was clean. Only complaint would be that we had some issues getting door to lock and also there was a very limited selection of pots/pans and utensils in the kitchen. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

Not what we were expecting

This was a rough stay. One reason we chose this property was because it is pet friendly. We were grateful to be able to bring our dogs since each of the 3 couples had one. Ian was kind enough to give us a discount, too. When we arrived, we couldn’t get in. The host gave us an old code rather than the updated one. No biggie. We went to a cafe in town, used the bathroom, headed back once he got back to us. When we entered, immediately a slight mildew smell that old basements have, we chalked it up to it being an older home. Opened some windows, cranked up the AC, we got used to it. Overall, it seemed nice/clean. The two rooms upstairs are lovely, but the one downstairs, the carpet is very stained and we could not open the blinds because they were broken. Again, no biggie. Just make sure to wear shoes and we don’t need much sunshine in the room anyway right? Day 2 morning, we noticed there was a little mouse nibbling on cabbage on the kitchen counter. We captured it and let it outside since we’re animal lovers, but we were also grossed out. The patio table had no chairs. 1 Adirondack. And then the toilet downstairs started overflowing whenever someone took a shower or used the sink upstairs. We were cleaning up possible sewage water because we didn’t know what was going on. This was from after dinner to 11:30pm . We sent messages, called VRB0 to document it. He said he’d send a plumber. We left early in the morn. No offer of compensation at all.
