Excellent! We stayed here while moving our daughter into Lindenwood. It had everything we needed and close to the college where we could run back and forth.

Charming house in St Charles

The accommodations were perfect for our group of 6 and stay of 3 days. We enjoyed the kitchen amenities, modern conveniences and comfortable beds!

Great House!

This house was perfect for our girls weekend. We mainly wanted to stay in so the house was perfect for us with all kitchen items needed, plenty of seating and we were able to walk to St. Charles Main Street (0.9 miles away). The only issue was the garage door didn’t open because it seemed to be off the track but we were able to pull the door open manually which wasn’t a huge deal. We would come again.

Family Christmas

We were here to celebrate Christmas with the whole family for the first time in many years. Christmas decorations at the house were such a surprise and so welcoming. St Charles is a great place to see at Christmas time. Though we were not at the house much during the day we loved the shower and there were plenty of beds for our group. If the weather was nicer we would have loved the backyard patio. Many thanks to the host for providing this property.

Great Stay

This house was absolutely amazing! Nice and spacious and in a great location for us. The front porch was a great place for morning coffee and afternoon wine :) Hopefully, we'll get to stay again :)

Relaxing after family wedding

Great house and location in St. Charles. We previously lived in the area, 27 yrs ago, and wanted to see some sites and friends. House and big back yard and proximity to Historic Main street was a plus. Great find and minutes from everything!

Extended Family Reunion

We had 3 out of town families staying together for a busy family reunion weekend. The house was perfect for our family. We filled every bedroom, but still had plenty of space to spread out and visit and we had plenty of hot water and towels when it was time to get ready for all of our fun events. We cooked a couple meals in the well stocked kitchen but also enjoyed the nearby dining and coffee shops.

This location was perfect!

My daughter lives only one and a half blocks away and we could walk there to celebrate my granddaughter birthday party. The house looked just like the pictures on line. Everyone raved about the beds and pillows how comfortable they were. We had plenty of room to move about. In warmer weather the backyard patio looked nice and inviting. Access to park in garage made for plenty of parking spaces also. Our host sent us the exact location, his phone number and a nice welcome message before we arrived. Quick response and easy communication when we heard an alarm go off early morning of our checkout day. We will definitely be back to stay in this house! Thanks again to Matt for accommodating to our needs. 5 stars for sure!

a nice place

The house all in all was a nice place. was not happy with the parking on (the street) the smart locks didn't work we had to call the host at midnight to get into the house. they did fix them after the 1st night. was further from downtown then what they told us. more like 7 blks. could have used some cleaning outside with the leaf's and sticks in back yard but we did have a good time

Perfect St Charles stay

Owner was great to work with. Enjoyed the home. Super close to downtown St Charles. FYI-The listing had the address as 1115 instead of 115.

Had a wonderful time

We really enjoyed our 5 days there. Clean, well appointed, it's not a new house but the remodeled bathroom with the huge walk-in shower made up for it. My wife and I stayed in the basement bedroom with a very comfortable bed. We did have to get used to the squeaking floors from upstairs, but that was minor. You may need to bring a grill as they had one but it was broken, not a big deal. I would stay there again.

Excellent Stay in Historic St. Charles

This is such a wonderful home. One surprise was that the bottom basement floor is almost like an apartment just minus a kitchen. The check-in/out process was very simple and easy. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind when we stay in St. Charles again.

Great place to stay!

We rented this property for the long weekend. Very easy to find, great location with A LOT of activities/restaurants close by. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We would definitely rent this home again.

Above and beyond!

Our communication was incredibly timely with the owner. Matt was responsive and helpful. The property is LOVELY. Someone paid attention to detail, each room was beautifully decorated. The bedrooms restful, beds were like clouds! Adored everything about it but mostly being accomodated as we traveled for business and did not want the hotel experience. THANK YOU!

Lovely historic home in St Charles

Our VRBO experience with Matt was the best to date! The home was in perfect shape. Decorated by someone with taste and also concern about comfort. Not an easy task! The basement bedroom was surpassed only by the fantastic basement walk in shower. Wish I had a picture of the shower panel control as it was a treat to use. Nice extra touches like snacks & Kcups welcomed us. Matt was super responsive. The home has stairs to upstairs and basement bedrooms so everyone should take note. No trouble for us but should b aware when renting as one bedroom only on main floor. This rental is full of nice nice touches. I’m hoping to return!
