Come relax at our newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2 bath classic cedar shake cottage in the private and peaceful area of South Nags Head. You will enjoy beautiful sunsets from the privacy of the rear deck and our newly installed pool (May 2024). The cottage is located just one short block to the beach access. Enjoy bike rides or walks along the beach path. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment close by. Home amenities include: linens/bedding only, 34’ x 15’ salt water pool, Wi-Fi, cable with 4 smart TV's, interior/exterior sound system, gas grill, hot tub, new double headed outdoor shower, wrap around decks with dining and a ground floor tiki bar and open areas for entertainment. The Friday to Friday rental allows you to avoid weekend check in traffic and start your week off in a relaxing environment!

Loved this house that felt like a home

This property is definitely a step up from your typical beach house. It feels like a home. Great location, very comfortable. In good repair. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great Spring Break Spot

The house was great for a small family group. John made the check in process extremely easy and accomodated an early check in. The porches are nice, but cool weather and pollen prevented their use. Recommendations for places to eat and things to do were spot on - Fish Heads has terrific food!

Guys Weekend Fishing Trip

Husband and friends headed down for a long weekend fishing trip to celebrate his 40th birthday —-they loved the proximity to Oregon inlet! The tiki bar area was the perfect evening poker spot!! John was super accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Perfection!

Wow! This was the perfect rental for our family. The location to the beach access was fantastic. We never had to fight for a spot on the beach with this access either. The home itself was beautifully decorated with coastal charm, and the Nags Head style exterior is gorgeous! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook any meal. The downstairs was another amazing feature with a tiki lounge, refrigerator, television, water hoses and the outdoor shower. This is the best outdoor shower you will see at coastal homes! We are looking forward to the next trip out to the OBX with this home, whether it is a fishing trip or a family vacation, this home is perfect!

Felt like staying in your own home

We love South Nags Head and often travel to the area. This was our first time being there over New Years and using a VRBO. We were so pleased. The home is so cozy, well stocked with all the necessities, and had wonderful bedding. The lay out was perfect for us. Our young adults enjoyed the twin beds instead of bunks, A rare find in rentals. Please do not change this function. The underneath area with the hot tub and Tiki Bar area was a hit for the holidays. It was so much open space and a great entertainment area. Would be a great area for corn hole in the summer. Communication with the owner was so easy. He was quick to respond to my questions and made sure the grill was in working order for us to use. The welcome gift and personal note were a nice surprise and much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your home. I would rent again.

Great House

This is a well equipped, clean, well located house. We don’t cook anymore but this house has about everything you need to prepare most anything. Probably the cleanest house we have ever stayed at. (My wife and I have rented beach houses for about 30 years.) We don’t travel to the outer banks yearly, but when we return, we will certainly try to stay here. Definitely recommended.

Excellent Family Getaway!

This property is in a perfect location and was exactly as described. It was extremely clean, charmingly decorated, and perfect for what we needed. It sits back on the property away from the main road it is on, which was perfect for our little ones. The property is private and the outer deck and area under the house are amazing. It’s also a very short walk to the beach. The owner was gracious and communicative. I cannot think of a single complaint we’d have. We will stay here again if available! Thanks.

We are from Richmond, Va and have been coming to the OBX for 50+ years! We have owned the cottage for 4 years and have made significant upgrades to an already well kept home! We try to limit the number of rentals per year to maintain the home’s condition. We think you will find it very well kept and comfortable with all the amenities you need!

For those of you familiar with the Outer Banks, you understand the peaceful environment South Nags Head offers. It still feels like a beach town down south but is still super close to restaurants, shopping etc! This is why we chose to own in this area of the OBX!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The previous owner did not rent the cottage and used it for personal use only. It was lovely and well kept when we bought it and we have maintained that environment by limiting rentals. Our renters feel a sense of home at our place and enjoy the modern and well kept amenities.
