All that Seneca Lake has to offer is right outside your doorstep... A minute walk to Monaco's cafe, five minute walk to Wegmans and several local restaurants. We're directly across from Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges! As an added security measure we have a Ring security camera installed at our front entrance. Please be advised that this is an exterior camera.

This is a fantastic home base for discovering wineries and breweries in the area!

Six parking spots on the premises, additional street parking available adjacent to the entrance. Beautiful house for many types of gatherings and events!

Nice house close to town

Had 11 friends and family come in for five days to enjoy the lake and town. Proximity to area attractions was excellent and communication with the owner was very quick and helpful

Great house for all the kids

The house worked perfectly for our 3 family's and all the kids. Only drawback was being on a busy street, but definitely not a deal breaker - would stay there again

We do apologize for the lively area, it’s the only drawback to being so close to town, but like you mentioned most people don’t mind the traffic as it typically settles down after 5. Perfect House for a Group

We stayed here with a group of friends for our wedding in Geneva. The house was perfect for a group dinner and we also used it for our bridesmaids to get ready. Matt is super nice and the whole process went well!!

Great family rental

We were in town for a family rental. There were 6 adults and 5 children in the 6 bedrooms. Everyone was able to sleep in a bed (5 queens and 1 king), and we were able to bring our dog. The very spacious living room and the separate dining room accommodated us well The house is on a busy street, but it was perfect for our needs and very close to all the events. We would definitely stay there again

Great Location in Geneva

We were in town for Ironman Musselman. The location of the house is perfect for the race...it is actually closer to the transition and athlete's village than the athlete parking, which was perfect for the race. The run course also goes by the house 4 times and it is a pretty easy walk down to the finish if you are going there. Also a very short walk to the downtown area. The rooms are pretty basic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were a bit nervous about the AC situation but the room units does the job incredibly well...we actually had to turn them down because the rooms were getting so cold (and it was 90* outside).

Extended Family Vacation

Great time. House was just what we needed. Great Location, 6 Bedrooms, 2.5 baths, nice size living room. Very close (walking distance) to the lake, historic district, many great restaurants, and grocery store. Matt was very responsive to all inquiries both before and during our stay. It was very nostalgic for our kids (now in their mid 30's). They grew up in a similar house. The grandkids loved it also. If you love old houses with character and quirkiness, this is the place to stay. If you want new and modern (central air, dishwasher, highly functional kitchen, etc), this might not be for you. We loved it and had a great week!

Hello Barry, Thanks for leaving us a review of your stay! We are glad you enjoyed your time in Geneva and in our lovely home. While we know it’s on the older spectrum of homes, we like to ensure that guests of all sorts will be happy with our accommodations. This is why we have AC units in every bedroom to compensate for a lacking central air system (we plan to upgrade this in the Fall of 2023 just FYI for prospective guests reading thus), pots pans and other cookware along with the standard kitchen items and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. We would be happy to upgrade our kitchen with any needs you feel would better help it to be a “functional” kitchen, so feel free to reach out to us directly with any improvements and we will implement accordingly. Friends and family getaway..

Matt's house house suited our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room for all of us and all basic amenities were provided including coffee! The walkability to both downtown and the lake was a huge sell for us. Matt was pleasant to communicate with and replied quickly to all inquiries. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely area

Matthew was really helpful while we were there for our stay! Very accommodating and kind—especially when a few unexpected things happened during and after our stay. The location is perfect for walking to town or driving to wineries and breweries. I’d would definitely stay again!

Great spot for a visit to HWS!

We were looking for a comfortable place to land for the weekend while our son toured Hobart and William Smith Colleges. This house was thoughtfully furnished, clean, comfortable, and offered lots of space to stretch out, Located just steps from campus and an easy walk downtown, it was a great spot…just what we were looking for. And our host, Matt, couldn’t have been nicer. He reached out to us several times before and during our stay to check in and make sure we had what we needed.
