This charming cabin offers a perfect retreat, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. Featuring a cozy fireplace, an open floor plan, and a relaxing hot tub, it invites you to unwind and enjoy your surroundings.

Ideal for groups of up to eight—whether two families or a group of friends—this cabin provides ample space. The main floor features an open floor plan with a comfortable living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as a large bedroom with two queen beds and a bathroom. On the upper level there are two king bedrooms and a bathroom.

Situated in the peaceful neighborhood of Tahoma, you're conveniently close to ski resorts and snowshoeing in winter, as well as bike paths, hiking trails, the lake, and beaches for summer adventures.

Parking:
Parking is available for 3 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

**Available for 2025 ski lease starting as early at January 8, 2025. $4,900 per month for rent, garbage, internet and driveway snow removal. Review the application on our Ski Lease tab of the Tahoe Rental Company website. Online booking is not available, so please review the ski lease tab, then contact us for more information to determine the next steps to ski or ride like a local this season!

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This home is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ and outdoor furniture is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most Tahoe homes, this one does not have air conditioning. Fans will be available for your stay.
* Your safety matters. This property ,may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

It was mostly a comfortable stay, the walls are VERY thin as you can hear everything upstairs when sleeping in the downstairs room. The house itself is outdated and the hot tub water was green, and not enticing to get into. We didn't spend too much time there, so it was fine, but probably won't book this place again.

This cabin is a perfect location between North and South Lake Tahoe. It’s out of the busyness and very quiet. The jacuzzi was so nice on cold evenings and mornings. It was a perfect layout for our family with 3 adult kids. Very easy access to all of Lake Tahoe, especially Emerald Bay and other areas south and west.

Wonderful place for a getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. We have a very anxious dog, and typically he is antsy to be in places where there is sign of other dogs. In this case, he had no issues at all. The place was clean, instructions straightforward, and location was perfect for a getaway. We also liked the ambience and interior decoration of the cabin. It had a vacation vibe.

We appreciated the older style cabin without stairs to access the main entry for a family member with mobility challenges. Great BBQ and outdoor dining area was enjoyed by our family. Upstairs rooms were beautiful and spacious. Downstairs is a bit crowded with two large beds! We did two day trips to Erhman Mansion and Meeks Bay but otherwise relaxed at the cabin. Overall a nice getaway spot.

Tahoe Rental Company

While the cabin was in need of significant repair outside, it was decent enough inside. The hot tub was great. The pet fee seemed exorbitant. The batteries for both the front door and back door electronic touchpads to get inside, died, and without cell phone reception, it was challenging to let the rental company know. Our biggest frustration was the inability to communicate with Tahoe Rental Company in a timely fashion due to cell reception. Rather than wait until the hour before check in to receive the entry code, it would be far more comforting and convenient to get it before we leave the house to travel to the location. Questions I asked were very vaguely answered, and we had a whole list of stuff to do upon departure that I felt our cleaning fee should have covered. I panicked because I forgot to push the start button on the dishwasher, and called about it on our way home. Most of the time we were at the cabin, I was concerned that we would not do something right and be charged extra fees because of it. The BOOK of instructions was not only TOO MUCH INFORMATION, it was downright conflicting info. In several sections. This was our first poor experience with a VRBO, though Lake Tahoe itself and the weather were perfect - rain, hail, thunderstorm and all!

Pungent Smell Overrides this Nice Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented on the first hot day of the year, walked in about 7pm, and was smacked in the face with a pungent dog ****/body odor near the couch, stairs, and whole upstairs area. Revolting. It aired out a bit overnight with the windows open but the smell came back the next day with a vengeance. Stayed on the lower level thankfully so we didn't have to deal with the smell. Texted management and they sent a guy over, he said he could smell it but it smelled like apricot but was a bad odor. He said he didn't have anything for the smell but put down baking soda to try to help. It didn't. My husband threw up when we came home after that from the smell. We found an Air Wick plug-in and that helped keep the stench away to bearable levels on the last 2 days we were there out of 5. There is water damaged wood all along the upper roof line of each side of the cabin and some downstairs near the kitchen. There was a ladder on the side of the house and a tarp on the top of the cabin, so roof work was being done or needed to be repaired. Maybe the smell came from that. Everything else was nice. Clean, well kept, and had a nice welcoming ambiance. Everything worked without problems including the stove, shower, lights (there are several switches everywhere and it takes a couple tries to figure all them out), locks (took a second to figure out the deadbolt), tv (took a min to figure out), heater, and the Jacuzzi that we really enjoyed each night. Other than the smell, it would be nice to have the closest in the downstairs room to use to hang clothes (it was full of stuff), at least one extra garbage bag, one recycle bag, a roll of toilet paper for each night stay in each bathroom, laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, and cooking oil. The pictures downstairs by the dining table are held up with duct tape and look to about to fall, those should be hung properly. Management responded quickly through text, even when I locked the keys in the house. Would not stay again due to the smell.

Although small, it had everything we wanted including a larger area in the back. One note, although the property limits parking, the parking limitation on the streets is for the winter months. Walkable to lake. Hot tub and BBQ available and easy to use. Steep stairs to the upstairs.

This property is fabulous! We loved the location and access to activities!

The property was outstanding! The “bear garbage” was FULL when we arrived (which left us little space for OUR garbage). The upstairs beds were amazingly comfortable! The downstairs beds and fold out couch were not very comfortable. The interior decorating was top notch! We will definitely stay here again!!

Great cabin

The cabin was well equipped and very clean. It was great for my family. We cooked thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The kitchen had just about everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
