Located in the Vibe District a quick five blocks from the Ocean and the Virginia Beach boardwalk is the High Tide.

The High Tide, completely remodeled in May 2022 is a 1950 Sq Ft. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, tranquil beach home centrally located for your next family vacation to the beach.

Enjoy the perfect stay just blocks from the hustle and bustle of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Local favorite restaurants, shops, pubs, entertainment, and nightlife are only a quick walk or bike away.

We bring to you the farmhouse at the beach with a modern twist. This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home was renovated in 2022. It has 3 parking spaces, a full kitchen with all cooking and eating utensils supplied, and a breakfast bar that sits 3, 54` TV including HULU plus, Netflix, and fast WIFI. The property also features an outdoor grill.

NESTLED WITHIN THE OCEANFRONT AREA IS VIRGINIA BEACH’S CULTURAL ARTS ENCLAVE—THE VIBE CREATIVE DISTRICT.

A hub for artists and spirits, roasters and restaurants, workouts and wares, museums, and more, the ViBe is where our creative businesses have set up shop to share their passion and inspire a sense of discovery in locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re here for a few days or here for good, there’s always something special going on. Weekly and monthly events like the Old Beach Farmer’s Market and Second Saturdays give a taste of the town and bring entertainment and community art projects you can be a part of.

This property has a shared wall with another home. While we have added extra insulation, noise barriers, and sound dampening, we ask all guests to be courteous and keep noise levels manageable.

We do require a $200 damage deposit hold to the CC on file 48 hours prior to your arrival. Exterior security cameras are present overlooking the driveway / front yard / front door entryway
No additional guests on the property other than the ones included on the booking.

This property shares a common wall with the home next store. Please be courteous and keep any loud noises at a respectable level.

Quiet hour per city ordinance no noise that can be heard at a neighboring property and quiet hour is 10pm.

Per the city of Virginia Beach`s guidelines no more than 3 cars per booking and cars must be parked in the driveway!

No smoking, $500 fee if the house smells like smoke of any kind

No Parties or events, $500 fee & Immediate cancellation

We do not accept local bookings & guests must be over the age of 25 to book.

Great Home

We traveled to VA beach for the NAS airshow and stayed at High Tide. Our party consistented of four adults, and three kids (4yr, 2yr, and 11m). Simply put, the home perfect! It was physically clean, it smelled clean, there was plenty of space, it was perfect walking distance to many attractions, and the visitor book was a very nice touch! Much appreciated!

Summer Weekend Stay

My family and friends had a great stay at Cat & Chris’ property. The house was very modern and clean and Cat & Chris were both super attentive of any questions we had. The location is fantastic as you’re within walking distance to the beach and restaurants along the main strip of Virginia Beach.

Room for the whole family

It was a perfecr space. My kids are all adults all over the country, so having us all together would have been enough, but the large table where we could play our games and laugh was wonderful. We will stay here everytime we come to visit.

Spacious and comfortable home!

We thoroughly enjoyed the house, it was the perfect size and location for our weekend stay! The photos are accurate and the house was clean and just perfect! Only thing I can complain about is the raised edge where the driveway meets the sidewalk...myself and others tripped (maybe paint it for caution?). Thank you Cat & Chris for sharing your home!!

Highly recommend!

This was a clean, comfortable/cozy stay! The owner was super responsive when we had questions and we loved the Christmas decorations since we stayed over the holiday. The location is great— 5-7 mins walk to the boardwalk and 2-3 blocks from the coffee shops and restaurants in the vibe district- such a walkable home. We would definitely stay again!

Mini Beach Holiday

The property is exactly as described. Renovated, clean, well appointed. 1. The beach is a 8-10 minute walk with a sidewalk. You can use the 1/2 street to walk in the shade. There is a cart with chairs and a boogie board. 2. The bedrooms were large and the mattresses were nice. There was plenty of drawers, closet and shelf space. The amenities were accurate and lovely. 3. The kitchen is beautiful and has cups, plates a few pot and pans, blender, toaster. The fire alarm is sensitive. I recommend adding a screen door to the kitchen for ventilation. 4. Gathering spaces in the dining and tv room were nice. 5. There are a few card games. Maybe a couple of board games. These will likely increase overtime. There was problem with the key entry system. However, Cat was easy to get a hold of and it was fixed within 10 minutes. We had a great stay! Definitely, recommend to anyone looking for more space near the beach away from the hubbub and near good restaurants where locals dine. Also, very close to the VIBE cafes and convention center.

Perfect Place

High Tide is a lovely place and is in perfect location. It has been renovated and very comfortable. It is close to the beach, restaurants, and the convention center. The owners are very helpful and were available if needed. We would return in the future.

Family Gathering

This home is everything as described and more than expected. It was perfect for our stay in Virginia Beach. First of all, this house is clean with all the comforts of home and beautifully decorated in modern finishings. The beds have quality mattresses for a good night’s sleep, kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, and the bathrooms are stocked. This property is exceptional. We came to celebrate our granddaughter’s graduation from Norfolk State University, but we gained so much more because of comfort provided in this true home away from home. We love it!
