Perfect family spot

Came for a family vacation. The house is big in size, slept all 13 of us. Lots of deck space if you want to get away from everyone. Loved the decorations and the open kitchen. The beach is super close and having the bikes and golf cart is so convenient especially with kids. Had a few questions for the host and they got back to me quickly. 100% Would stay again.

Beautiful Home with Everything you need

This beautiful, new home is adjacent to the lovely Carolina Lake. This home has everything you need to enjoy your stay at Carolina Beach. The kitchen is large, spacious and has all small appliances for you to cook for vacation. If you don't want to cook, it is located near many lovely restaurants that you can walk to. All rooms are spacious and lovely. My husband and kids enjoyed the video games when we had some downtime. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone that would want to stay in a beautiful home.

First time family visit

House worked very well for our family. Centrally located in the greater area but a bit more of a walk to the boardwalk with kids than we expected. We had issues with the keyless locks but the property manager did get us access to the lockbox for a physical key. Nice to have access to washer and dryer and would have liked one additional king sized bed upstairs.

Perfect Oasis

This home was lovely. The pictures did no justice. My family and I have stayed at dozens of dozens of places and this tops it by far. The location was amazing. Close to the beach but far enough for quietness. The on property golf cart came in handy with the beach trip. Or store & food runs. The property manager is an absolute delight. She’s so responsive & sweet. The house was clean. The yard was clean. House was so spacious. They have extras from what people leave. The balconies were so pretty. It was just an amazing overall stay. The kids loved it 😊. I will definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Home on Pleasure Island

Our host Andrea was the best host that we could ever ask for. She delivered in every aspect. The times that we had questions she was very responsive. My family enjoyed everything about the house. We rented the golf cart which made it very convenient to get around the island. The house is literally walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. The lake by the house had nice ducks all around and also a big farmers market event. Our host covered everything that anyone could think of for a comfortable stay and vacation! The beds were comfortable, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Balconies with relaxing hammocks. TVs in every room. There was a retro video game machine that our whole family enjoyed. We also put together one of the 550 piece puzzle which made us work together. We’re from Texas so we took full advantage doing a cookout. Our vacation in Carolina Beach was the best family vacation ever! No complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this vacation gem! We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Carolina Beach.

A perfect stay!

Highly recommend. The house was everything we needed for 2 adults and 7 teenagers. The property owners were quick to respond with a few issues we had with the garbage disposal. The location is an easy walk to the beach, as well as the boardwalk. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we come back to Carolina Beach next year.

Family Outing 2021

Andrea was great in preparing us and very easy to work with. the home was in an excellent location just off the beach and the park was great. Loved the Saturday farmers market at the park! The gold cart made back and forth's to the beach an easy experience. We would recommend this home for any size gathering for a great stay in Carolina Beach!

BEAUTIFUL place to stay
 super relaxing!!

This was a beautiful property that really accommodated everyone very well! We had 4 adults and 3 teenagers. EVERYONE had their own space to just chill and relax whether it be inside or outside on the decks! Cooking accommodations were amazing inside and outside as well. GREAT place to stay! You will not be disappointed!

Lives up to its name!

My family and I (large group - 4 adults, 6 kids ranging ages 3-15) thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at "Our Perfect Spot". With exception of a very minor check-in hiccup, we had zero issues during our stay. The home itself is quite large and spacious - the pictures do not do it justice. The large family room and deck spaces provided us the perfect areas to sit back and relax without feeling like we were living on top of each other. The decks all receive a good breeze at any time of the day, and provide good cover during thunderstorms as well if you're like me and enjoy sitting outside under cover while enjoying the sounds and sights. There is a great main-floor bedroom where our sole teenager was able to use as her little private oasis. All upstairs bedrooms have their own, private bathrooms which was another "plus" for us. The home was very clean, and nicely stocked with various cooking, glass and dishware. The fridge is roomy but I would hold off on purchasing for an extended stay all at once if you intend to refrigerate for a large family. It wasn't an issue or inconvenience for us by any means, but something to consider. We chose to rent the 6-person golf cart during our stay and it came in handy. There is a great city park at the opposite end of the street that our 5 older children visited daily for basketball and watching the skaters. It was close enough to walk but we carted them back and forth at times as well. The cart was also extremely helpful when trying to find the perfect beach parking. The closest access is off of Spartanburg, which is one street over. You do need to consider budgeting for parking, though. They charge for all vehicles, including carts, and the city pass on the golf cart is not valid at most of the boardwalk and/or beach access lots. My only other comment regarding the golf cart is to make sure you know where to find "tow mode" - which is required for charging. If you're reading and taking notes, it's in the battery compartment under the middle row of seats! We had to google :) We visited at least 4 restaurants in the immediate vicinity, again, using the golf cart (for half of us!). Squiggley's ice cream was amazing - we even met "Mr. Squiggley"! Nikki's Gourmet Sushi was a huge hit for my sushi connoisseur hubs and son. We also enjoyed Britt's Donuts (take it from a former local, this is a MUST visit on the boardwalk), Carolina Smokehouse, and Hang 10 Grill. Excellent stay in a beautiful area!

Fantastic family beach house!

I highly recommend this house! It was spacious, bright and beautifully clean. We had an extended family group staying from a 2 month old infant to a 60year old and every member equally enjoyed their stay. The house is fully stocked and every light fixture and electronic is clearly labeled for use which is fantastic in an unfamiliar setting. There are lake views from the front balconies and a short walk (on the footpath around the lake) on the other side of the lake is public beach access only 10 minutes walk at best. The boardwalk and plenty of restaurants are also only 15 minutes walk away. There are no showers at the closest beach access but the house has an outdoor shower to get everyone cleaned up after a day in the sand. The house has a fire pit for late night s’mores, plenty of comfy outdoor lounging furniture, smart T.V’s in every bedroom and an arcade game for the kids (and kids at heart). We will definitely be staying here again!
