BRAND NEW Guesthouse! This woodsy retreat is nestled in on 20 acres of timber. Comes fully furnished with 2 queen heavenly beds, extra roll away if needed, towels, linens, kitchen wares, to make you feel right at home. Cozy front porch w/ BBQ grill, privacy shades, hanging hammock swings and outdoor sofa. Full length mirror and lighting for those formal occasions, desk with 2 monitors for the executive stay, and a poker table for the card lover. 10 min to the airport or 5 min to Smithville Lake

Safe, peaceful and convenient

Beautiful cottage for close to the price of a hotel room. Well worth it while I was in town visiting family. All of them who stopped by, loved the place. My sister-in-law said she was going to look it up so she can recommend it to others.

This was such a fantastic stay. The hosts were great to work with and the Wade Cave was a great home away from home. Snuggled in a piece of wooded paradise, this stay was quiet and homey. We enjoyed waking in the mornings and sitting on the front porch with a nice cup of coffee. It was a great calm way to start our day. Everything you needed to cook was provided for your use. If we are ever back this way we would stay here again.

Quiet Cabin Retreat

We were in town for the Chief’s game but wanted a more quiet place to stay. The rustic feel was perfect for our boys, even had a visit from wild turkeys and white tail deer. The drive in to Arrowhead was easy and direct. Bed’s were comfortable and slept well. The property feels secluded but is not far from grocery’s and other conveniences. We enjoyed our stay!

Check-in was done by text, very detailed info, as house was difficult to find at night. Hard part was 5 of us getting ready for a wedding, with 1 bathroom; but we made it work. Rainfall showerhead, so bring a shower cap lol They had soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Very nice towels. We would definitely stay here again, if the situation arose.

Great location

We loved Smithville. Perfect location to KC. No complaints but just want others to know it is a lived on property and close to airport so there is a lot of noise and air traffic. I sleep thru everything so it didn’t bother me! Great place if you want to kick back and relax all weekend for sure!

You won’t regret it!

The best place we could have stayed for our weekend getaway! It is cozy and quiet, but also just a short drive into the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, and the hosts are fantastic! Will definitely plan to go back!

Perfect Place

You will not be disappointed in staying in this cozy and relaxing House. Such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The owners are always available with any questions you have and so nice. This is an absolute perfect place to get away from it all and the town of Smithville has so many fun shops and a beautiful winery close by.

Woodsy retreat

It is an amazing stay. The check in process was very easy. It was close to the wedding venue White Iron Ridge that we had a wedding at. It was well stocked and the view in the morning was nice. It was a pleasant space for our family.

When the house exceeds expectations

The place is fantastic cozy and tucked away near the city but still makes you feel like your in the country. If i had any critiques i would say a couple lamps in the top loft, and the shower was finicky with hot water. Aside from that a great place to stay if your looking to get away

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Easy drive into KC for some great BBQ, and we enjoyed exploring the Smithville Lake area!

While our space doesn't have a stove, we do have accommodations to be able to cook everything you would need in a regular kitchen. Our microwave is also a convection/air fryer, and we have two hot plates, a grill, and full-size fridge.
