We had a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed and all the necessities were thoughtfully provided, making our stay very comfortable and convenient. The home was clean, welcoming, and well equipped. The host was also fantastic very communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Any questions we had were answered quickly, which made the whole experience easy and stress free. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this rental to others!

We loved our stay at this hotel! It's very close to the lake and the rooms were all clean and well-maintained. It also had one of the best-stocked kitchens I've seen in a rental. Finally, I really appreciated how quick the host was with her all her responses. I definitely recommend a stay here!

We enjoyed our weekend stay! Great location, everything was clean and updated, and we didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to come back for the snow!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, spotless home in Kings Beach. The house was much larger than we expected, perfect for a larger group and very family‑friendly. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and it’s an easy 15‑minute walk to downtown Kings Beach. Communication with the owner was impeccable—she was extremely accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions. Everything we wanted to do was within about a 20‑minute drive, including Northstar Village. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

Comfortable space, great location

The home was perfect for my family, including our adult children and their partners. Comfortable space and beds, walking distance to the beach and shops, and easy proximity to hiking trails and Sand Harbor Beach. We loved the outdoor space to have dinner as a family as well.

Perfect for our winter getaway!

This was a great house in a central location and quiet neighborhood. We stayed here with family right after the holidays and it was convenient to Northstar where we skied. The house is updated and had everything we needed. Chelsea was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute Cottage in Great Location

A really cute cottage, with old world charm and modern kitchens/bathrooms. Good location, walkable to Kings Beach, local restaurants and golf course. Really well equipped including some basic cooking ingredients. Lots of towels too. All in all a lovely place to stay.

Great location and comfortable

The house was perfect for our family’s needs. We appreciated the proximity to the grocery store, beach, and restaurants. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were particularly nice. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the large backyard with cornhole and hot tub, as well as the sand toys and beach chairs. The wifi performed excellently for remote work. Would certainly stay here again!

Lovely place; thoughtfully furnished

We enjoyed our stay this past week. Everything was set up to make it easy for us to just move in. We were impressed with the thoughtful and tasteful furnishings and particularly appreciated the Keurig coffee, lovely sheets and towels, cookware and spices provided. There were some fun games that we enjoyed as well. We were so busy driving to area beaches (and enjoying the folding chairs and portable cooler!) that we never got to use the hot tub!! The only thing that we would have added is more coffee cups. Thank you. Mary

Just OK

Didn’t love this property. Everything felt very cheap. We paid surge holiday pricing and it definitely wasn’t worth it. The hot tub was broken our entire stay and they did refund a bit but we picked this property because of the hot tub so that was disappointing. The house needs a deep clean, the couch had a lot of junk in and around it. Communication was good, quick and helpful.

Hi Adrian, thanks for staying with us. We’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations but I wanted to clarify that the hot tub is not broken. Instead, it was an unfortunate situation where the guests who checked out prior to your stay had abused the hot tub to where it had to be drained, cleaned and refilled. We quickly arranged with our hot tub servicer on Christmas Day to have this done for you. We also allowed you to check in four hours early, free of charge. We are happy to report we had a deep clean completed after your stay so thank you for the feedback.

WOW! Beautiful, clean, spacious property!

My husband, kids and myself stayed several nights at this beautiful cabin in early July. The communication with the owner was wonderful. She was very responsive and went out of her way to give us great suggestions for local activities and places to eat. The cabin is much larger than pictured with 3 levels giving our family our own spaces to relax. The downstairs basement is basically it's own small apartment with a stand alone kitchen. The owners have thought of everything and the attention to detail was amazing. Don't forget there is a beautiful backyard with a jacuzzi, cornhole, gas fireplace, bbq and large patio table. You can walk to Safeway, restaurants and the beach so we didn't need to do much driving. We look forward to renting this property again in the near future!

The home was warm and inviting. It had bedrooms on 3 different floors which made privacy nice. The kitchen was well equipped. Not to mention a nice hot tub that was very clean. We walked every morning to Starbucks, a short walk down their street and just around the corner. Then we just crossed the street in front of Starbucks and our toes were in Lake Tahoe, where there's a small park with picnic tables on the beach. Couldn't have been more convenient.The host responded rapidly when we had any type of question. She was very helpful. Her flexibility to our specific needs was the best I have ever experienced! Would book again tomorrow if I could.

This was a great place for me, my husband and our two sons. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. It's a ten minute walk to the lake and maybe fifteen minutes to a bunch of shops and restaurants. We had a snafu with the Wi-Fi on arrival, but Chelsea got it fixed ASAP and was super responsive. There's no AC, but even though it was 90F, with fans and the windows open, the house stayed very comfortable! We'd definitely stay here again!

Exceeded our expectations…. Great location. Clean, ample parking, close to everything on the north shore. A well stocked kitchen, it’s so nice when going to cook and there are all sizes of pots and pans. This kitchen had everything I needed. I brought my own things but, didn’t have to use them. The outside patio great for entertaining and relaxing. We will be back

Krauland Visit

Loved the property, was better in person than what we saw on the web. Only recommendations, for Corn hole, we could only find one bean bag, and had to share that. Also if there were more cooking POTS that would have been great. The linens and towels were awesome.....I am going in search to buy some of the same for my home! Other than that, it was a great time and we want to go back for Christmas if it is open!
